2. Educational Qualification & Experience

Essential:

• 3-year Diploma in Electronics Engineering or equivalent — Pass Class (minimum passing marks acceptable)

Essential Service Requirement:

• Must be an Ex-Serviceman from Indian Air Force (IAF)
• Rank at discharge: Junior Warrant Officer (JWO) or above
• Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience in IAF
• Date of Retirement from IAF: On or before 01.04.2026

Experience (must have):

• Should have served as JWO or above rank in IAF with 15 years of service and Diploma in Electronics
• Experience in Radar / Radio System repair or maintenance preferred (mentioned in application form)

Preference:

• Candidates with experience in Government / Semi-Government defence branches given preference

5. Tenure Details

• Total Tenure: 15 years OR superannuation at age 60 — whichever is earlier
• Review: Every 5 years based on individual performance and project requirements
• Transfer: Selected candidates may be transferred to any health/project facility under BEL as per company requirement

Stage 1 – Written Test

• Objective type written examination

Stage 2 – Interview

• Only candidates who qualify written test called for interview
• Ratio: 1:7 (per category vacancy) called for interview

• IAF Discharge Book / Certificate clearly indicating: Medical Category, Date of Discharge, Character (Exemplary/Very Good or Equivalent)
• Experience Certificates from previous employers (clearly indicating period and post held)
• Appointment Letter / Latest Salary Slip (for present employer)
• PAN Card copy (Identity Proof)
• Aadhaar Card copy (Identity Proof)
• OBC (NCL) Certificate — issued on or after 01.04.2025 (OBC candidates)
• SC/ST Certificate in prescribed format (available on BEL website)
• PwBD Disability Certificate — minimum 40% disability, in prescribed BEL format (from www.bel-india.in)
• NOC from current employer (if working in Govt./PSU/Quasi-Govt.)
• If currently serving in Armed Forces and yet to discharge: Documentary proof of Medical Category, Character and Probable Date of Discharge

• Rank must be JWO or above and retirement must be on or before 01.04.2026
