🏥 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Duties of Pharmacist:

🔹 Medicine Management:

• Receiving, storing and issuing medicines
• Maintaining stock registers
• Proper storage as per drug standards
• Ensuring expiry management

🔹 Patient Services:

• Dispensing medicines to patients
• Counseling patients on medicine usage
• Ensuring correct dosage instructions
• Maintaining patient confidentiality

🔹 Inventory Management:

• Stock taking and indenting
• Maintaining minimum stock levels
• Preventing stock-outs and wastage
• Record keeping as per norms

🔹 Quality Control:

• Checking quality of medicines received
• Proper storage conditions maintenance
• Reporting adverse drug reactions
• Following drug disposal protocols

🔹 Record Maintenance:

• Maintaining stock registers
• Digital data entry in pharmacy software
• Narcotic and psychotropic drug registers
• Monthly consumption reports

🔹 Compliance:

• Following Drugs and Cosmetics Act
• Adhering to pharmacy council norms
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene
• Following COVID-appropriate behavior
