Step 2: Login & Apply

• Login with Registration Number and Password
• Select post from available vacancies
• Fill application form carefully
• Upload required documents

Step 3: Pay Fee

• Pay ₹100/- via SBI e-Pay (if applicable)
• SC/ST/Women/PwBD/Ex-servicemen exempted

Step 4: Submit

• Preview application
• Submit final application
• No changes allowed after submission
• Take printout for records

• One application per candidate per examination

2. Educational Qualification (Post-wise)

Legal Assistant:

• Degree in Law from recognized university
• Experience: 1-3 years as Legal Practitioner or in Legal work (varies by department)
• Registration at Bar Council (for some departments)

Assistant Engineer (Civil):

• Degree in Civil Engineering from recognized university
• No experience required

Junior Engineer (Civil):

• Degree in Civil Engineering OR
• 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering + 2 years experience
• From recognized university/board/institute

Assistant Section Officer / Grade-II:

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from recognized university
• Computer proficiency (desirable for some departments)

3. Age Limit (as on 25.03.2026)

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years
• Ex-Servicemen: Service period + 3 years (max 55 years)
• Government servants: As per rules

Legal Assistant (Post Code 801/26): Two Tier Examination

Tier-I (200 Marks, 2 Hours):

• Section A (100 Marks): General Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Hindi, English (20 marks each)
• Section B (100 Marks): Subject specific (Law)

Tier-II (300 Marks, 3 Hours):

• Part-I (100 Marks): MCQs on qualifying subject
• Part-II (200 Marks): MCQs on technical/domain knowledge (2 marks each)

Assistant Engineer & Junior Engineer (Post Code 802/26 & 803/26): One Tier

(300 Marks Total, 3 Hours):

• Section A (100 Marks): General subjects (20 marks each - as above)
• Section B (200 Marks): Technical Civil Engineering MCQs (2 marks each)

Grade-II/ASO (Post Code 804/26): Two Tier Examination

Tier-I (200 Marks, 2 Hours):

• General Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Hindi, English (40 marks each)

Tier-II (300 Marks, 3 Hours):

• Part-I MCQ (200 Marks): General subjects + Computer (40 marks each)
• Part-II Descriptive (100 Marks): Essay (50), Letter Writing (25), Precis (25) - In English

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

• General/EWS: 40%
• OBC: 35%
• SC/ST/PwBD: 30%

Negative Marking:

• 0.25 marks for 1 mark question
• 0.50 marks for 2 marks question
