2. Educational Qualification (as on last date 19.05.2026)

Additional requirements:

• Basic Computer Knowledge as per Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules 1967
• Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both

3. Age Limit (as on 19.05.2026)

• Maximum Age: 35 Years
• Minimum Age: 20 Years (as per GPSC general rules)

5. Selection Process

Stage 1 – Preliminary Test (Objective MCQ Type):

• Medium: Gujarati (unless otherwise decided by GPSC)
• Minimum qualifying: 15% marks required — below 15% = not eligible for interview
• Prelim dates (Tentative): Paper-1: 26 July 2026 | Paper-2: 30 August 2026
• Exam Centres: Generally Gandhinagar / Ahmedabad

Stage 2 – Interview (Viva Voce):

• Number called for interview per category vacancy:
  • 1 vacancy → 10 candidates | 2 → 16 | 3 → 18 | 4+ → 3× vacancies or 20 (whichever higher)

Final Selection Weightage:

• Prelim Test: 50% weightage (marks out of 300 × 50/300)
• Interview: 50% weightage (marks out of 100 × 50/100)
• Combined score out of 100 marks

Final Result published within 10 working days after interview completion.

• B.E./B.Tech Degree and all semester/year marksheets (Civil or Mechanical)
• Category Certificate — SC/ST/SEBC/EWS (in prescribed format, within valid period)
• SEBC Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (3-year validity from issue year)
• EWS Certificate (in Gujarat Govt. prescribed format — Annexure KH/Pariship-ग; valid for 3 years)
• PwD Disability Certificate in Form V/VI/VII as per RPwD Rules 2017 (min 40%)
• Ex-Servicemen Discharge Book copy
• Sports Certificate (if claiming +5% bonus marks)
• Widow Certificate + Affidavit of non-remarriage (if applicable — for +5% bonus)
• NOC from current employer (if working in Govt./PSU/cooperative)
