• Category A: Blindness and Low Vision
• Category B: Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Note:

• Vacancy numbers are subject to increase/decrease as per requirement
• Non-disabled candidates cannot apply for this recruitment
• Only candidates with valid Benchmark Disability Certificate are eligible

2. Educational Qualification

Minimum Educational Qualification (55% Weightage):

Candidates must have passed ITI (Industrial Training Institute) from Government recognized institute in any ONE of the following trades with minimum marks:

Minimum Duration: 1 year course

Additional Qualification for Priority (15% Weightage):

Apprenticeship Training Certificate (NCVT) in the SAME TRADE as ITI qualification from:

• Government Department
• Semi-Government Organization
• Public Sector Undertaking
• Any Limited/Private Limited Company

Important Example:

• ✅ Eligible: ITI in Electrician + Apprenticeship in Electrician = Gets additional 15% weightage
• ❌ Not Eligible: ITI in Electrician + Apprenticeship in Lineman/Wireman = No additional weightage

Total Weightage Calculation:

• ITI Qualification: 55% weightage (based on percentage obtained)
• Apprenticeship (same trade): 15% weightage (based on percentage obtained)
• Written Exam (OMR): 30% weightage (100 marks converted to 30)
• Total: 100% weightage

3. Age Limit (as on 12/03/2026)

Minimum Age: 18 years Maximum Age: 45 years

Eligible Date of Birth: 12/03/1981 to 12/03/2008

Age Relaxation for Persons with Disabilities:

According to prevailing Government rules, Persons with Disabilities get 10 years additional age relaxation (maximum age up to 45 years, not exceeding in any case).

⚠️ CRITICAL NOTE:

• Age exceeding 45 years under any circumstances will NOT be accepted
• Even with age relaxation, maximum age cannot exceed 45 years
• Application form will not accept age beyond limit (technical restriction)

4. Salary / Pay Scale

Employment Type: Fixed Pay Contract (5 years)

Fixed Pay: ₹21,100/- per month for 5 years

Employment Terms:

• Contract period: 5 years
• After 5 years of satisfactory service, eligible for regular appointment
• Regular appointment at prevailing basic pay scale in GSRTC
• During contract period: Only entitled to applicable allowances as per rules
• No other allowances/benefits during fixed pay period

After Regular Appointment:

• Basic pay as per GSRTC pay scale
• All applicable allowances
• DA, HRA, and other benefits
• Provident Fund benefits
• Leave benefits
• Medical benefits

5. Selection Process

The selection will be through OMR-based Written Examination:

Examination Pattern:

Qualifying Marks: Minimum 40 marks out of 100 to qualify

Negative Marking: Yes

• 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer
• Blank/unattempted questions: 0.25 marks deduction
• Multiple options marked: 0.25 marks deduction
• Unclear marking: 0.25 marks deduction
• Exception: If candidate marks option (E) for "Don't know" - No negative marking

Selection Criteria:

Step 1: Call candidates for written exam (1:15 ratio based on educational qualification weightage)

Step 2: Written examination (100 marks = 30% weightage)

Step 3: Merit list based on total weightage:

• Educational Qualification: 70% (ITI 55% + Apprenticeship 15%)
• Written Exam: 30%
• Total: 100%

Step 4: Document verification (1.5 times candidates as per vacancy)

Step 5: Provisional selection list / Waiting list

Important Notes:

• Candidates must pass written exam (minimum 40 marks)
• Final merit based on 100% total weightage
• Selection purely on merit basis
• No category-wise reservation (EWS, SC, ST, SEBC) in this special drive
• No women reservation quota applicable
• No ex-serviceman reservation applicable

6. Application Fee

Exam Process Fee (Non-Refundable):

All Divyang candidates (male/female) must pay:

• Base Fee: ₹200/-
• GST (18%): ₹36/-
• Total: ₹236/-

Payment Window: February 13, 2026 to March 14, 2026 (23:59 hrs)

Important Points:

• Fee once paid is NON-REFUNDABLE
• Fee will not be refunded even if candidate not shortlisted for exam
• If multiple applications submitted, only last application with fee paid will be considered
• Payment through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI

Employment Terms:

21. Contract Period: Initial 5 years on fixed pay of ₹21,100/- per month.

22. Regular Appointment: After 5 years satisfactory service, eligible for regular appointment.

23. Posting: Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in Gujarat.

24. Service Bond: May be required to execute bond/agreement.

25. Probation Period: Regular appointees will have probation period as per rules.
