2. Educational Qualification
Minimum Educational Qualification (55% Weightage):
Candidates must have passed ITI (Industrial Training Institute) from Government recognized institute in any ONE of the following trades with minimum marks:

- Public Sector Undertaking
- Any Limited/Private Limited Company
Important Example:
- ✅ Eligible: ITI in Electrician + Apprenticeship in Electrician = Gets additional 15% weightage
- ❌ Not Eligible: ITI in Electrician + Apprenticeship in Lineman/Wireman = No additional weightage
Total Weightage Calculation:
- ITI Qualification: 55% weightage (based on percentage obtained)
- Apprenticeship (same trade): 15% weightage (based on percentage obtained)
- Written Exam (OMR): 30% weightage (100 marks converted to 30)
- Total: 100% weightage
3. Age Limit (as on 12/03/2026)
Minimum Age: 18 years Maximum Age: 45 years

Age Relaxation for Persons with Disabilities:
According to prevailing Government rules, Persons with Disabilities get 10 years additional age relaxation (maximum age up to 45 years, not exceeding in any case).
⚠️ CRITICAL NOTE:
- Age exceeding 45 years under any circumstances will NOT be accepted
- Even with age relaxation, maximum age cannot exceed 45 years
- Application form will not accept age beyond limit (technical restriction)
4. Salary / Pay Scale
Employment Type: Fixed Pay Contract (5 years)
Fixed Pay: ₹21,100/- per month for 5 years
Employment Terms:
- Contract period: 5 years
- After 5 years of satisfactory service, eligible for regular appointment
- Regular appointment at prevailing basic pay scale in GSRTC
- During contract period: Only entitled to applicable allowances as per rules
- No other allowances/benefits during fixed pay period
After Regular Appointment:
- Basic pay as per GSRTC pay scale
- All applicable allowances
- DA, HRA, and other benefits

5. Selection Process
The selection will be through OMR-based Written Examination:

Selection Criteria:
Step 1: Call candidates for written exam (1:15 ratio based on educational qualification weightage)
