Essential Qualifications

1. Educational Qualification:

• M.Sc. Computer Science (Regular 2-year course) OR
• MCA (Regular 3-year course) OR
• BE/B.Tech Computer Science/Computer Engineering/IT (Regular course)
• With 55% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST if posts reserved for them)

2. Language Requirement:

• Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit OR
• 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one subject

3. Teacher Eligibility:

• Certificate of having qualified HTET/STET (Haryana/School Teachers Eligibility Test)

4. Academic Record:

• Consistent good academic record means 50% average marks in any three examinations from 10th/12th/Graduation/Post-Graduation
• However, must have at least 55% in Post-Graduation/Graduation as applicable

Relaxation: SC/ST candidates - 5% relaxation (52.25% minimum in qualifying degree)

Stage 1: Screening Test

• Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
• Total Questions: 100
• Total Marks: 100
• Duration: 2 hours
• Medium: English only
• Qualifying Marks: 25% minimum

Options: 5 (A, B, C, D, E)

• Mark A/B/C/D if attempting
• Mark E if not attempting
• Negative Marking: 1/4 mark for wrong answer
• If none marked: 0.25 deduction
• Disqualification: Not darkening any circle in more than 10% questions

Shortlisting: 4 times the number of posts (including bracketed candidates)

Note: Marks in Screening Test NOT counted for final selection

Stage 2: Subject Knowledge Test

• Duration: 3 hours
• Total Marks: 150
• Medium: English only
• Qualifying Marks: 35% minimum
• Weightage: 87.5%

Shortlisting for Interview: 2 times the posts (minimum 35% marks required)

Stage 3: Interview/Viva-Voce

• Maximum Marks: Not specified
• Weightage: 12.5%

Final Merit: Subject Knowledge Test (87.5%) + Interview (12.5%)
