2. Educational Qualification

For Commerce / Science / Arts faculty posts:

• Master's Degree with min. 55% marks in relevant subject from recognised University
• NET/SLET/SET cleared by UGC/CSIR OR PhD as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016 (exempts NET requirement)
• SC/ST/SEBC/PwD candidates: 5% relaxation (50% acceptable)

For Technology & Engineering / MCA (AICTE):

• B.E./B.Tech. + M.E./M.Tech. with First Class in at least one degree
• OR B.E./B.Tech. + MCA with First Class in at least one degree
• OR 3-year Graduation with Mathematics + MCA First Class + 2 years experience

For Family & Community Sciences – Interior Design:

• Relevant degree as per AICTE/UGC regulations applicable to the discipline

Note: PhD holders as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016 are exempted from NET/SLET/SET. Foreign degree holders need AIU Equivalence Certificate.

5. Selection Process

• Screening Test / Personal Interview for shortlisted candidates
• Selection as per UGC Regulations 2018 + Gujarat Public Universities Act 2023
