🎓 EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Minimum Qualification:

• 10th Pass (SSC/Matriculation) OR
• Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in relevant trade OR
• National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT OR
• Course Completed Act Apprenticeship (CCAA)

• Must pass: Color Vision, Binocular Vision, Night Vision, Mesopic vision tests

2. Medical Standard A-3:

• Posts: Assistant Track Machine
• Distant Vision: 6/9, 6/9 with or without glasses (power ≤2D)
• Near Vision: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses
• Must pass: Color Vision, Binocular Vision, Night Vision, Mesopic vision tests
• ⚠️ LASIK/Eye Surgery: NOT ELIGIBLE

3. Medical Standard B-1:

• Posts: All other Assistant positions, Trackmaintainer-IV
• Distant Vision: 6/9, 6/12 with or without glasses (power ≤4D)
• Near Vision: Sn. 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses
• Must pass: Color Vision, Binocular Vision, Night Vision, Mesopic vision tests
• ✅ LASIK Eligible: If 1+ year duration, ≥425 microns residual corneal thickness

4. Medical Standard C-1:

🎯 SELECTION PROCESS

4-Stage Selection:

Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT)

• Duration: 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD with scribe)
• Total Questions: 100 (each 1 mark)
• Negative Marking: 1/3 mark deduction for wrong answer

Subject-wise Distribution:

Qualifying Marks:

• UR/EWS: 40%
• OBC-NCL: 30%
• SC: 30%
• ST: 30%
• PwBD: 2% relaxation if shortage

Stage 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

• Shortlisting: 3 times of vacancies based on CBT merit
• Nature: Qualifying (no marks)

Male Candidates:

1. Lift and carry 35 kg weight for 100 meters in 2 minutes (one chance)
2. Run 1000 meters in 4 minutes 15 seconds (one chance)

Female Candidates:

1. Lift and carry 20 kg weight for 100 meters in 2 minutes (one chance)
2. Run 1000 meters in 5 minutes 40 seconds (one chance)

Exemptions from PET:

• ✅ PwBD candidates
• ✅ Ex-Servicemen
• ✅ Course Completed Act Apprentices (Railway trained)

Stage 3: Document Verification (DV)

• Shortlisting: 1:1 of vacancies based on CBT+PET merit

Stage 4: Medical Examination

• As per Indian Railway Medical Manual (IRMM)

5. PwBD Certificate:

• Format: Annexure-V (A/B/C/D/E/F/G)
• Minimum 40% disability
• UDID mandatory
• Type of disability clearly mentioned

6. Ex-Servicemen Certificate:

• Declaration: Annexure-VI
• NOC (for serving personnel): Annexure-VI(A)

7. EBC Certificate (for fee concession):

• Format: Annexure-IIIA
• Annual family income <₹50,000
• OR BPL Card / Izzat MST

8. Minority Certificate:

• Affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper (Annexure-IV)
