- Candidates awaiting final results of prescribed educational qualification are NOT eligible to apply

- SC/ST relaxation: 5 years
- Ex-Servicemen relaxation: 3 years (UR/EWS), 6 years (OBC-NCL), 8 years (SC/ST) after deduction of service length
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) relaxation: 10 years (UR/EWS), 13 years (OBC-NCL), 15 years (SC/ST)

How To Apply
- Step 1: Create an Account on RRB official website (or use existing account credentials for CEN 2024/2025/2026); authenticate identity via DigiLocker or Aadhaar
- Step 2: Fill online application with correct details including medium of examination, order of Zone preference; upload live photograph and signature as per specifications
- Step 3: Pay applicable examination fee online; application accepted only after fee payment confirmation
Important Notes
- CBT: 120 minutes, 100 questions, negative marking of 1/3 mark for each wrong answer; sections include Mathematics, Data Analysis & Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, Mental Reasoning
- Minimum qualifying marks in CBT: UR-40%, EWS-40%, OBC(NCL)-30%, SC-30%, ST-25% (relaxable by 2 marks for PwBD in case of shortage)
- CBAT: Minimum T-Score of 42 marks required in each test battery to qualify; no negative marking; questions in English and Hindi only
- Final merit: 70% weightage to CBT, 30% weightage to CBAT
- Candidates who have undergone LASIK surgery or any other surgical procedure to correct refractive error are NOT eligible for this post
- Free Sleeper Class Railway Pass admissible to SC/ST candidates for examination travel
- Selection does not confer right of appointment; RRB only recommends names to Zonal Railway authorities
- Modification window: 17.08.2026 to 26.08.2026 with Rs. 250 modification fee per occasion
