2. Educational Qualification (Category A – Lecturer)

Essential:

• Master's Degree with minimum 55% marks in any of the following:
  • Economics, Agriculture, Commerce, Business Administration, Cooperation, Cooperative Development, Law (LLB), MCA, M.Tech/MS in Computer Science
• NET qualified OR PhD
• Minimum 5 years teaching experience in:
  • Recognised University / Institute / Cooperative Training Organisation / Central or State Government / Autonomous Body
• For private sector/university candidates: CTC should be comparable with Government/PSU pay scale

Preferred:

• Experience in Cooperative Organisation in relevant field

Age Limit:

• Maximum 38 Years

3. Salary / Remuneration

Key Salary Points:

• No other allowances — consolidated salary only
• Salary fixed based on candidate qualification, experience and last pay drawn
• Not more than 10% above last pay drawn (excess requires Executive Council approval)
• CTC-based, negotiable as per market standards — remuneration not a limiting factor for deserving candidate
• 5% annual increment on satisfactory performance
• Extraordinary performance: increment up to 15% (with NCCT Executive Council approval)
• No DA increments applicable (unlike regular employees)

Other Perquisites:

• Campus residential accommodation (subject to availability) — license fee charged at 20% of consolidated remuneration + electricity + water charges
• For outstation programs: Boarding, lodging or TA/DA as per NCCT rules
• 15 days leave per calendar year (non-carry forward; any additional leave is without pay)

4. Contract Period & Renewal

• Initial Contract: 3 Years
• Extension: Up to 2 more years on satisfactory performance (total max 5 years)
• No extension beyond 5 years
• Performance reviewed annually
• Termination on unsatisfactory performance: 1 month notice (or pay in lieu)
• Resignation: 1 month notice (or pay in lieu)

5. Selection Process

• Interview by Selection Committee of the Institute
• Recommendation placed before NCCT Executive Council for approval
• Candidates must bring all original certificates for verification at time of interview

• This is a contractual appointment — NOT a regular/permanent government job — no terminal benefits on termination
• Candidate cannot claim regular employment or DA enhancement applicable to regular employees
• Maximum age 38 years — relatively young age cap; ideal for early-career academics
• Salary is fully negotiable within range — deserving candidates may negotiate beyond standard formula
• Campus residential accommodation may be available (charged at 20% of salary)
• Candidate must attend office during working hours and on holidays if required
• Must maintain strict confidentiality of all institute work
• 5 years teaching experience mandatory — freshers with just NET/PhD but no experience NOT eligible
