2. Educational Qualification
- MD / MS / DNB / MCh / MDS in the relevant specialty from NMC/NDC (DCI) recognised institutions
- For Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology: M.Sc + PhD also accepted (both medical and non-medical)
- All PG medical degrees must be from NMC/NDC recognised institutions
- Candidates awaiting result of qualifying exam may apply provisionally but must pass by 31.08.2026
3. Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 45 Years (relaxable as per Govt. of India rules)

4. Salary / Pay Scale
- Pay Level: Level-11 (7th CPC Pay Matrix)
- Allowances: DA + HRA + Transport Allowance + Non-Practising Allowance (NPA) for medical candidates
- Contract: Initial 1 year, extendable up to 3 years (including previous senior residency period)
5. Selection Process
Stage 1 – Written Test:
- 40 MCQ questions × 2 marks = 80 marks total
- Duration: 40 minutes
- Negative marking: -0.50 per wrong answer
- Minimum qualifying marks required (as decided by Institute)
Stage 2 – Document Verification:
- Shortlisted candidates from written test called for document verification
- Candidates failing to produce required original documents: candidature cancelled
Stage 3 – Interview:
- Candidates clearing document verification appear before Selection Committee
Final Selection:
- Based on combined score — Written Test: 80% weightage | Interview: 20% weightage
- Merit list prepared category-wise
Can apply for maximum 2 departments — separate application + fee required for each.
