Educational Qualification

• ITI course in respective trade (Fitter/Turner/Welder/Machinist/Electrician) with First-class (60%) marks
• National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by NCVT as a regular candidate
• National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) under respective trade issued by DGT
• Minimum percentage relaxable by 5% for SC/ST/PwD candidates

Salary

• Basic Pay: Rs.16,900/- per month
• Dearness Allowance: At applicable IDA rates
• HRA: As applicable at place of posting, if Company Quarters not provided
• Medical expenses: Rs.1500/- per month
• Annual increment of 3% on Basic Pay during tenure, subject to satisfactory performance
• Other benefits: Gratuity (as per Gratuity Scheme) and Bonus (as per Bonus Act)

Age Limit

• GEN/EWS: 29 years
• SC/ST: 34 years (5 years relaxation)
• OBC: 32 years (3 years relaxation, Non-Creamy Layer)
• PwD: additional 10 years relaxation over and above SC/ST/OBC-NCL relaxation, for candidates with minimum 40% disability
• Ex-servicemen relaxation: not specified in notification
• Age reckoned as on 10.07.2026

Important Notes

• Written Test: 2 hours duration, 3 parts - Part I: 20 questions General Awareness, Part II: 20 questions English & Reasoning, Part III: 60 questions on concerned Discipline, 1 mark each, no negative marking
• Pass marks for written test: 45%, relaxed by 5% for SC/ST/PwD candidates
• Engagement is on tenure basis for maximum 4 years from date of engagement; does not confer regular employee status
• Candidates will be posted to any of BEML's Manufacturing Complexes/Business locations; no request for change of posting entertained
