ESIC Hospital Udaipur Specialist & Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 – 19 Posts | Rolling Walk-In Interview

1. Post Name & Vacancy Details

Full-Time Specialists (FTS) / Part-Time Specialists (PTS) — 7 Posts

Senior Residents — 12 Posts

Note: 1 post horizontally reserved for PwD. Vacancies may change as per actual requirement on date of interview. Updated vacancy list published at end of every month after walk-in.

2. Educational Qualification & Experience

For Full-Time / Part-Time Specialists:

• MBBS + MD/MS/DNB or PG Diploma in concerned specialty from MCI/NMC recognised institution
• Valid registration with MCI/NMC or State Medical Council
• Min. 3 years experience after PG Degree OR Min. 5 years experience after PG Diploma
• Candidates with 5+ years post-specialty experience considered for Consultant (Senior Level)

For Senior Residents:

• MBBS + PG Degree/Diploma (MD/MS/DNB/DMRD or equivalent) in concerned specialty from MCI/NMC recognised institution
• Valid registration with MCI/NMC or State Medical Council

3. Age Limit (as on date of interview)

Age Relaxation (both posts):

• OBC (NCL): +3 Years | SC/ST: +5 Years
• PwBD (UR): +10 | PwBD (OBC): +13 | PwBD (SC/ST): +15
• Ex-Servicemen: As per Govt. rules
• EWS: No age relaxation

4. Salary / Remuneration

Full-Time Specialist:

Part-Time Specialist:

• Option 1: ₹60,000/month + ₹15,000 emergency call charges + ₹800/hour beyond 16 hrs/week
• Option 2: ₹60,000/month + fixed % of CGHS rates on case-to-case basis
• Duty hours: 4 hours/day, 4 days/week
• No private practice allowed for Full-Time Specialists

Senior Residents:

• Basic Pay: ₹67,700/- in Level-11 + NPA + DA + HRA + TA as per 7th CPC and ESIC HQ instructions

Security Deposit at Joining:

• ₹25,000/- via Demand Draft in favour of ESIC Fund A/c No. 1, payable at Udaipur
• Refundable after completion of engagement + No Dues Certificate
• Forfeited if left before completion of period

Professional Indemnity Insurance (Mandatory for Specialists):

• Anaesthesiologists/Cardiac/Neuro/Plastic Surgeons: ₹30 Lakhs minimum
• General Surgeons/Gynaecologists/Obstetricians: ₹20 Lakhs minimum
• Physicians/Dentists/Radiologists/Pathologists: ₹10 Lakhs minimum

5. Selection Process

• Walk-In Interview by Selection Board
• Document verification from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM — no one admitted after 11:00 AM
• Only eligible candidates (after document verification) allowed for interview
• If large number of candidates: Screening Test may be conducted
• Result published on: www.esic.gov.in/recruitments
• Selected candidates must join immediately after offer letter

6. Application Fee

• Only Demand Drafts on Scheduled Banks accepted
• DD must be issued after date of this advertisement publication
• Fee non-refundable

7. Walk-In Interview Schedule (Rolling)

If 3rd Thursday is a public holiday, interview held on next working day. Document registration: 9:00 AM–11:00 AM | Interview: After 11:00 AM | Late comers NOT entertained

8. Required Documents (Bring Originals + One Set Self-Attested Copies + 2 Passport Photos)

• Filled Application Form (Annexure B — in prescribed format)
• DD of ₹500/- (if applicable)
• Date of Birth proof (10th certificate)
• MBBS Degree Certificate and marksheets
• MD/MS/DNB/PG Diploma Certificate and marksheets
• MCI/NMC/State Medical Council Registration Certificate
• Experience certificates from all employers
• Research papers / publications (if any)
• Caste certificate — OBC-NCL (in prescribed Govt. format as per DoPT OM dated 30.05.2014), SC/ST, EWS (Income & Asset Certificate in DoPT format, valid for FY 2026-27)
• PwBD disability certificate from Medical Board
• NOC from employer (if working in Govt./PSU/Autonomous body)
• Two recent passport-size photographs

• No private practice allowed for Full-Time Specialists
• Selected candidates must execute agreement on ₹500/- non-judicial stamp paper at time of joining
• Security deposit of ₹25,000/- required at joining — refundable on completion; forfeited if resigned early
