2. Educational Qualification

For Assistant (Post Code 01):

• 3-year Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) with minimum 60% marks from a recognised university
• AND CA Intermediate / CMA Intermediate passed from ICAI / ICMAI

For Assistant Manager Finance (Post Code 02):

• 3-year Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) with minimum 60% marks
• AND Qualified CA / CMA from ICAI / ICMAI
• OR 2-year Regular MBA (Finance) / PGDM (Finance) from a recognised university

Important: Candidates awaiting final results or appearing in exams are NOT eligible. You must have the full qualification by the closing date 01.05.2026.

3. Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 30 Years (Age calculated as on 01.01.2026)

Age Relaxation:

Maximum age (including all relaxations) must not exceed 56 years.

4. Salary / Pay Scale

CTC includes Basic Pay, DA, HRA, Cafeteria Allowance, Performance Related Pay (PRP), Retirement Benefits, and other perks. Additional benefits include Medical Facility, Gratuity, Leave Encashment, and Group Insurance as per IRFC policy.

Service Bond: Assistant – ₹2 Lakh (serve minimum 2 years). Assistant Manager – ₹3 Lakh (serve minimum 2 years).

5. Selection Process

CBT Pattern:

• Total 100 MCQ questions | 90 minutes (120 min for eligible PwBD)
• Negative marking: ¼ mark deducted per wrong answer
• Part A (50 Qs – Both Posts): Maths/Numerical Ability (20), General Awareness (10), Logical Reasoning (10), Railways/IRFC Knowledge (10)
• Part B (50 Qs): Commerce/Finance/Tax/Accounting topics specific to each post

Qualifying Marks in CBT:

• UR / EWS – 40% | SC / OBC-NCL – 30% | ST – 25%

For Assistant Manager (Post 02): Top 3× candidates (category-wise) called for Interview. Final merit = 80% CBT + 20% Interview.

Exam Cities (Tentative): Delhi/NCR, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai
