2. Educational Qualification

For Computer Sciences & IT (GATE Paper: CS):

• B.E. / B.Tech / DOEACC B-Level / AMIE / GIETE OR
• M.Sc. / MCA / M.E. / M.Tech / M.Phil
• In fields: Electronics, Computer Sciences, IT, Communication, Computer & Networking Security, Software Systems, Informatics, Computer Management, Cyber Law, Electronics and Instrumentation

For Electronics & Communication (GATE Paper: EC):

• B.E. / B.Tech or equivalent in Electronics and Communication Engineering

For Data Science & AI (GATE Paper: DA):

• B.E. / B.Tech or equivalent in relevant discipline

GATE Requirement (Mandatory for all):

• Valid GATE 2024 OR GATE 2025 OR GATE 2026 score in the relevant paper (CS / EC / DA as applicable)
• Equal weightage is given to GATE 2024, 2025, and 2026 scores

All qualifications must be completed by the cut-off date: 31 March 2026

3. Age Limit (as on 31.03.2026)

5-year relaxation for candidates serving in Govt. organisations in same/allied cadres.

4. Salary / Pay Scale

• Pay Level: Level 10 as per 7th CPC
• Pay Scale: ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 per month
• Post Type: Group-A S&T (Gazetted) post — Permanent / Regular Government Job

5. Selection Process

Stage 1 – Shortlisting based on GATE Score:

• Candidates shortlisted in the ratio of 1:5 (discipline-wise and category-wise) based on GATE 2024/2025/2026 score
• If multiple candidates share the same GATE score at the cutoff, all such candidates will be called

Stage 2 – Document Verification:

• Mandatory before the interview
• Candidates not producing original documents will not be allowed to appear for interview

Stage 3 – Personal Interaction / Interview (Max 50 marks):

• Technical/Academic Knowledge
• Presentation / Communication Skill / Comprehension
• Academic Performance (0.05 marks for each percentage of essential qualification degree)

Qualifying Marks in Interview:

• UR: Minimum 50% | EWS / OBC / SC / ST / PwBD: Minimum 40%

Final Merit (100%):

Tie-breaking (in order): Higher GATE score → Higher Technical marks in interview → Older in age

Interview Location: Delhi or any other location/mode approved by competent authority. No TA/DA will be paid.
