Educational Qualification

• Graduate Engineer posts: Engineering Degree in respective discipline (Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Process/Chemical, Computer Science/IT, Fire & Industrial Safety, HR, Materials Management, etc.) from recognized University/Institute
• Diploma Engineer posts: Diploma Engineering in respective discipline (Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, Mechanical) from recognized University/Institute
• Minimum qualifying marks: 60% (55% for SC/ST) in Degree/Diploma
• Post Qualification Experience required: 2 to 11 years for Graduate Engineers (Scale 1 to Scale 4) and 2 to 8 years for Diploma Engineers (Scale 1 to Scale 3), depending on scale
• Non-engineering candidates applying for non-technical posts (HR, etc.) to be considered as Executive for the discipline

Salary

• Diploma Engineer Scale 1: Rs. 31,000; Scale 2: Rs. 36,000; Scale 3: Rs. 40,000
• Graduate Engineer Scale 1: Rs. 47,000; Scale 2: Rs. 56,000; Scale 3: Rs. 63,000; Scale 4: Rs. 71,000
• Consolidated remuneration inclusive of House Rent, Medical, Mobile/Telephone charges, Conveyance etc.
• Annual increment of 3% on consolidated remuneration for each completed year of service
• Additional Site Allowance of Rs. 250/day for postings outside Noida, Vadodara, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad
• North East Allowance of Rs. 5000/month (Degree Engineers) or Rs. 3000/month (Diploma Engineers) for non-domicile employees posted in North East
• PF & Gratuity payable as per statutory labor codes

Age Limit

• Graduate Engineer Scale 1: 32 years; Scale 2: 35 years; Scale 3: 37 years; Scale 4: 42 years
• Diploma Engineer Scale 1: 37 years; Scale 2: 40 years; Scale 3: 43 years
• SC/ST relaxation: 5 years
• OBC (NCL) relaxation: 3 years
• PwD relaxation: 10 years
• No applicant of age 56 years or above eligible for any post
• Age reckoned as on 30.06.2026

• Step 3: Upload required documents (DOB certificate, Degree/Diploma certificates & marksheets, Experience certificates, photograph) and submit; only one application per unique Aadhar number allowed

Important Notes

• Contract engagement initially up to one year, renewable up to a maximum of three years from initial joining date
• Selected candidates may be posted/transferred to any PDIL project sites or offices across India during contract tenure
• TA reimbursed by III AC (Rail fare) for Engineer/Executive grades and Sleeper class for Diploma Engineer/Jr. Executive grades, only for shortlisted candidates who appear before Interview Board
• Candidates with pending criminal cases need not apply
• Only Indian Nationals eligible; contract can be terminated by PDIL with one month notice
• Teaching experience, internship, sabbatical, and extraordinary leave periods will NOT be counted towards work experience
