Educational Qualification
- Principal: Master's Degree from recognized University + Bachelor of Education; 10 years teaching experience (as Vice Principal/PGT/TGT) in recognized High School/Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary School/Intermediate College
- Vice Principal: Master's Degree from recognized University + Bachelor of Education; 2 years experience as Post Graduate Teacher OR 3 years as Trained Graduate Teacher
- Desirable (Principal): Doctorate Degree; Administrative charge experience of a recognized school
Salary
- Principal: Level 12 in Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
- Vice Principal: Level 10 in Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
Age Limit
- Principal: 50 years (UR/EWS), 53 years (OBC), 55 years (SC/ST)
- Vice Principal: 35 years (UR/EWS), 38 years (OBC), 40 years (SC/ST)
- PwBD relaxation: up to 10 years additional (subject to maximum age limit of 56 years)
- Ex-Servicemen: actual military service deducted from age (max 3 years beyond prescribed limit)
