Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) – Department of Posts, Government of India (Gujarat Circle – India Post) Recruitment 2026

Valid driving license for Light & Heavy Motor Vehicles • Knowledge of motor mechanism (candidate should be able to remove minor defects) • Minimum 3 years experience in driving Light & Heavy Motor Vehicles • Passed 10th Standard from a recognized board • Home Guard / Civil Volunteers experience is desirable

1. Candidates must apply offline only. 2. Download the application form from the official India Post website or use the format provided in the notification. 3. Fill the application form completely in BLOCK LETTERS. 4. Paste recent passport-size photograph and sign at the required places. 5. Attach self-attested copies of required documents: • 10th pass certificate • Driving License (LMV & HMV) • Experience certificate (minimum 3 years) • Caste / EWS / Ex-servicemen certificate (if applicable) 6. Pay the application fee through the prescribed e-payment challan (if applicable). 7. Put the application in an envelope and superscribe: 👉 “Application for the post of Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade)” 8. Send the application by Speed Post or Registered Post only to the address mentioned in the notification. 9. Applications sent by any other mode will be rejected.
