2. Educational Qualification
Minimum Qualification Required:
Candidates must fulfill ANY ONE of the following:
- Full-time B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc Engineering pass-out in 2025
- OR Final-year students passing out in 2026
- OR Candidates who completed 3-year Diploma and directly joined 2nd year of B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg) are also eligible
Programme Type:
- Must have attended full-time AICTE / UGC approved Campus Programme
- Distance learning / part-time programmes are NOT eligible
Minimum Marks Required:

4. Salary / Pay Scale
During Training Period (1 Year):
- All-inclusive Stipend: ₹30,000/- per month
- Medi-Claim Coverage (self only):
- Hospitalization: ₹2,50,000/- per annum
- OPD Coverage: ₹6,000/- per annum
After Successful Completion of Training:
- Designation: Assistant Manager (IL6)
- CTC: ₹7.4 Lacs Per Annum
- Plus other perks and benefits as per company policy
Career Growth:
- Regular evaluations during training period
- On successful completion: Full-time employment as Assistant Manager (IL6)
- Possible transfer to any Divisions, Subsidiaries, and Joint Ventures of Tata Steel
5. Selection Process
The selection will be done through a Three-Stage Process:
Stage 1: Online Application Screening
- All applications screened for eligibility criteria
- Candidates not meeting eligibility criteria disqualified at this stage
Stage 2: Online Written Test
- Online Functional Domain Test (Subject/Technical Knowledge)
- Followed by Behavioural Assessment
- Call letters released in 2nd/3rd week of March 2026
- Date communicated via registered email ID
Stage 3: Interview
- Shortlisted candidates from written test called for interview
- Interview conducted either In-Person or Virtual (Online)
- All original documents verified on the day of interview
Important Selection Notes:
- Candidate found ineligible at any stage will be immediately disqualified
- Canvassing in any form will automatically disqualify the candidate
- Background verification conducted before final appointment
- Medical fitness check as per company norms
