1. Post Name & Vacancy Details

Class-1 Posts (Pay: ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500/month)

Class-2 Posts (Pay: ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400/month)

Women reserved posts and PwD/Ex-Servicemen reserved posts are included in the totals above as per category-wise breakup in the official notification.

2. Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree from any University incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature in India, or educational institution established by Parliament, or deemed university under UGC Act-1956 Section-3
• OR equivalent qualification as specified in the Recruitment Rules for each post
• Candidates who have completed 20 years of age and have appeared or will appear in the final semester/year exam but whose result is not yet declared may apply for the Preliminary Exam
• Such candidates must obtain the degree by the last date of application for the Main Examination
• Basic computer knowledge (CCC or equivalent) is mandatory for appointment

Additional allowances as per government rules. No increment during probation period (2 years).

5. Selection Process

Stage 1 – Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)

• Medium: Gujarati and English
• Standard: Graduate level
• This is a screening test only — marks NOT counted in final selection
• Approx. 15× times the number of vacancies will be called for the Main Exam

Stage 2 – Main (Written) Examination (Descriptive Type)

Stage 3 – Viva Voce (Personal Interview): 150 Marks

• Candidates approximately 3× the number of vacancies (merit-wise) will be called
• Attendance is mandatory

Final Selection: Based on total of Main Written Exam marks (Paper 3-7) + Viva Voce marks

• SSC (10th) Certificate for Date of Birth proof
• Graduation degree and all semester/year marksheets
• Category Certificate (SC/ST/SEBC/EWS) – as per valid format and within validity period
• Non-Creamy Layer Certificate for SEBC (valid for 3 financial years from date of issue)
• EWS Certificate in prescribed format (valid for 3 financial years)
• PwD Disability Certificate in Form-V/VI/VII as per RPwD Rules 2017 (min 40% disability)
• Ex-Serviceman Discharge Book copy
• NOC from present employer (if working in Govt./Semi-Govt./PSU/Cooperative body)
• Widow Certificate + Affidavit of non-remarriage (if applicable)
• Computer knowledge (CCC) Certificate
• Registration Certificate (for Medical/Legal posts where registration is required)
• Bar-coded application form printout

• PwD candidates must have minimum 40% disability to claim reservation benefits
• PwD Disability Certificate must be in the format of Form-V, VI or VII as per RPwD Rules 2017 — old formats are not valid
• SEBC Non-Creamy Layer Certificate and EWS Certificate must be issued within the valid period at the time of uploading documents for the Main Exam
• Once the application is confirmed/submitted, no changes will be accepted
• Candidates working in Central Govt./Other State Govt./Local Self-Govt./Cooperative bodies must submit NOC from their appointing authority
• Candidates working in Gujarat State Govt. can apply directly but must inform their department within 7 days of applying
• Preliminary Exam marks are only for screening purposes and are not counted in final merit
• Widow candidates get 5% bonus marks added to their total score — affidavit of non-remarriage is mandatory
• No mobile phones, pagers, smartwatches, or electronic devices are allowed inside the exam hall
• Calculators are not allowed in the Preliminary Examination
