Educational Qualification

• Diploma in appropriate branch of engineering/technology or Advanced Diploma (vocational) from recognized board/institute/State Technical Examination Board/University/AICTE accredited institute with relevant field experience as per trade
• OR Bachelor's degree in appropriate branch of engineering/technology from recognized University/AICTE accredited institute with relevant field experience
• OR Craft Instructor Training Scheme (CITS)/National Craft Instructor Certificate (NCIC) in same/relevant trade from DGT/DGET/Ministry of Skill Development with relevant field experience
• Trade-specific qualifications (Medical and Nursing Group):
• Medical Laboratory Technology (Pathology): B.Sc. in Microbiology with 1 year experience OR 2-year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician with 2 years experience
• Old Age Care: Bachelor's in Nursing/Midwifery with 1 year experience OR 2-year Diploma in Nursing/Midwifery with 2 years experience OR SSC pass with CITS/NCIC in Old Age Care trade with 3 years experience
• Health Sanitary Inspector: 1-year Diploma in Sanitary Inspector with 2 years experience OR SSC pass with CITS/NCIC in Health Sanitary Inspector trade with 3 years experience
• Radiology Technician: Bachelor's degree in Radiology/Radiation Therapy Technician with 1 year experience OR 2-year Diploma in Radiology Technician with 2 years experience OR SSC pass with CITS/NCIC in Radiology Technician trade with 3 years experience
• Basic knowledge of computer applications as prescribed in Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967

Salary

• Fixed pay of Rs. 40,800/- per month for first five years
• After five years of satisfactory service, eligible for regular appointment in pay scale of Rs. 29,200 to Rs. 92,300 (Level-05) as per 7th Pay Commission
• Subject to the outcome of Supreme Court SLP No.14124/2012 and SLP No.14125/2012

• General category female candidates: 5 years relaxation (maximum 41 years)

Important Notes

• Online application period: 20/07/2026 (5:00 PM) to 03/08/2026 (11:59 PM)
• Examination pattern: Part-A (90 marks - Logical Tests & Data Interpretation, Mathematical Tests, Constitution of India/Current Affairs/Gujarati & English Comprehension) and Part-B (120 marks - subject related to educational qualification); total 210 questions, 3 hours combined duration
• Negative marking: 1/4 mark deducted for each wrong answer
• Minimum qualifying standard: 40% separately in both Part-A and Part-B
• Additional 5% marks for widow candidates (subject to not being remarried) and for candidates with valid sports certificates (National/International, Inter-University, or All India School Federation level)
• Fee once paid is non-refundable except for candidates who appear in the examination
• Scribe/Compensatory time facility available for eligible disabled candidates as per prescribed norms
