About NABARD: National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) is fully owned by the Government of India.

Requirement: Panel preparation for Bank Medical Officer (BMO) on contract basis for 3 dispensaries located in Bengaluru.

2. Educational Qualification

Essential:

• MBBS degree in Allopathic system from Medical Council of India recognized university
• Minimum 2 years experience as Medical Practitioner in any hospital or clinic

Desirable:

• Post-graduate degree in General Medicine

Additional Requirements:

• Medical Council of India registration
• Working knowledge of computers
• Own dispensary or residence within 3-5 km radius from any of the Bank's dispensary

3. Age Limit

Contract Period:

• Initial: 5 years
• Renewable up to age: 70 years
• Beyond 70 years: Annual renewal up to 75 years (subject to performance & medical fitness)

4. Remuneration

Hourly Rate:

Monthly Components:

• Hourly remuneration (based on duty hours)
• Conveyance: ₹1,000/- per month (included in total remuneration)
• Mobile reimbursement: ₹1,000/- per month (additional)

Approximate Monthly Income:

• Location 1: ₹20,000-₹24,000 (2 hrs/day × 22 days)
• Location 2&3: ₹20,000-₹24,000 (2 hrs/day × 26 days)

5. Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide medical attention/advice to staff
• Attend to patients during dispensary hours
• Provide free injections, dressings etc.
• Issue prescriptions and order forms for medicines
• Visit staff residences when required (additional payment)
• Refer to specialists if necessary
• Arrange prophylactic vaccinations
• Conduct pre-employment medical check-ups
• Certify medical fitness of employees
• Maintain medical records
• Available on-call for emergencies
• Arrange substitute doctor at own cost during absence

Note: Bank reserves right to raise minimum eligibility standards to limit candidates for interview.

7. Contract Terms

• Initial Period: 5 years
• Renewable: In blocks of 5 years up to 70 years age
• Beyond 70 years: Annual renewal up to 75 years (subject to review)
• Termination: 1 month notice by either party
• No accommodation provided by Bank
• Substitute arrangement: Required at own cost during absence
• Bank holidays: Need not attend (unless emergency)
• Contract terminable without notice if breach of terms or unsatisfactory performance

• Panel Creation: This is for panel preparation, not fixed vacancies
• Proximity Required: Must have dispensary/residence within 3-5 km from Bank's dispensary
• Computer Knowledge: Working knowledge of computers mandatory
• Substitute Doctor: Must arrange at own cost during absence
• Strictest Confidentiality: Maintain secrecy regarding NABARD affairs
• No Regularization: Purely contractual, no right to claim regular employment
• On-Call Duty: Available for emergencies on bank holidays
• Performance Review: Subject to annual performance review
• NABARD Rights: Bank reserves right to alter duty hours, location, remuneration
• Additional Dispensaries: May be required to attend other Bank dispensaries as advised
