Educational Qualification

• Assistant Engineer - RE (E-0 Grade): Fulltime Regular Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical & Electronics/Instrumentation) from State Technical Board or AICTE/UGC Recognized Institute with pass marks
• Deputy General Manager - RE (E-6 Grade): Fulltime Graduate in Engineering (Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/Electronics/Control & Instrumentation/Civil/Mechanical) with minimum 60% marks from a recognized Indian University/Institute; SC/ST/PwBD candidates eligible with passing marks
• Minimum 10 years post-qualification Site experience in Power Sector for Assistant Engineer, out of which at least 6 years in 50 MW or more grid connected Solar/Wind Project(s) in O&M/Asset Management
• Minimum 12 years post-qualification experience for Deputy General Manager, out of which at least 10 years with Renewable Energy Developer of Solar/Wind Project(s), including minimum 2 years site experience in 50 MW or more grid connected Solar/Wind Project(s) in Project Construction/Erection/Commissioning

Salary

• Assistant Engineer-RE (E-0 Grade): Pay scale Rs. 30,000-1,20,000 with initial Basic pay Rs. 40,000
• Deputy General Manager-RE (E-6 Grade): Pay scale Rs. 90,000-2,40,000 with initial Basic pay Rs. 90,000
• Other benefits: Dearness Allowance, other perquisites and allowances, terminal benefits as per company rules

Age Limit

• Assistant Engineer-RE: Maximum 40 years
• Deputy General Manager-RE: Maximum 44 years
• SC/ST relaxation: 5 years
• OBC relaxation: 3 years
• PwBD relaxation: 10 years
• Ex-Servicemen relaxation as per Government guidelines
• Age computed with reference to last date of receipt of online application

Vacancy Details

• Assistant Engineer - RE (Asset Management/Operation & Maintenance): 100 posts (UR-41, SC-15, ST-7, OBC-27, EWS-10)
• Deputy General Manager - RE: 14 posts (UR-8, SC-1, ST-1, OBC-3, EWS-1)
• Reservation for PwBD candidates as per Government Guidelines
• Projected vacancies may increase/decrease at discretion of NGEL Management

Important Notes

• Candidates must undergo medical examination at specified govt. hospitals before joining; no relaxation in prescribed health standards allowed
• Selected candidates transferable at sole discretion of Management to any Corporate Centre/Sites/Stations/Projects/JVs/Subsidiaries of NGEL
• Age of superannuation in NGEL is 60 years
• Candidates from Govt Organization/PSU required to produce NOC from employer at time of interview
