2. Educational Qualification

Minimum Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University
  • Minimum 50% marks in aggregate (pass class for SC/ST/PwBD candidates)

For Ex-servicemen: Either a graduate from recognized University OR passed matriculation/equivalent examination of Armed Forces with at least 15 years of defense service

The selection will be through a three-stage process:

Stage 1: Preliminary Examination (Online)

  • English Language: 30 questions (30 marks) - 20 minutes
  • Numerical Ability: 35 questions (35 marks) - 20 minutes
  • Reasoning Ability: 35 questions (35 marks) - 20 minutes
  • Total: 100 questions, 100 marks, 60 minutes

Stage 2: Main Examination (Online)

  • Test of Reasoning: 40 questions (40 marks) - 30 minutes
  • Test of English Language: 40 questions (40 marks) - 30 minutes
  • Test of Numerical Ability: 40 questions (40 marks) - 30 minutes
  • Test of General Awareness: 40 questions (40 marks) - 25 minutes
  • Test of Computer Knowledge: 40 questions (40 marks) - 20 minutes
  • Total: 200 questions, 200 marks, 135 minutes

Stage 3: Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

  • Mandatory for shortlisted candidates
  • Conducted in Official/Local Language of the concerned state
  • No exemption given
  • Candidates not proficient will be disqualified

  • Negative marking: 1/4th marks deducted for each wrong answer
  • Candidates must qualify in each part separately
