Educational Qualification
- Passed Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) examination with Physics, Chemistry and English subjects conducted by the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board
- Educational qualification prescribed by Health and Family Welfare Department resolution dated 18/11/2024 for direct recruitment of X-Ray Assistant, Class-3 shall be applicable
- Basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in Gujarat Civil Services Classification (General) Rules, 1967
- Adequate knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi or both
Salary
- Fixed pay of Rs. 26,000/- per month for first five years
- After five years of satisfactory service, eligible for regular appointment in pay scale of Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200 (Level-2) as per 7th Pay Commission
- Subject to the outcome of Supreme Court SLP No.14124/2012 and SLP No.14125/2012

- Step 3: Upload photograph and signature, confirm application to generate Confirmation Number, print application, and pay examination fee online by 06/08/2026
Important Notes
- Online application period: 20/07/2026 (2:00 PM) to 03/08/2026 (11:59 PM)
- Examination pattern: Part-A (90 marks - Logical Tests & Data Interpretation, Mathematical Tests, Constitution of India/Current Affairs/Gujarati & English Comprehension) and Part-B (120 marks - subject related to educational qualification); total 210 questions, 3 hours combined duration
- Negative marking: 1/4 mark deducted for each wrong answer
- Minimum qualifying standard: 40% separately in both Part-A and Part-B
- Additional 5% marks for widow candidates (subject to not being remarried) and for candidates with valid sports certificates (National/International, Inter-University, or All India School Federation level)
- Fee once paid is non-refundable except for candidates who appear in the examination
- Scribe/Compensatory time facility available for eligible disabled candidates as per prescribed norms
