Eligibility

Qualification (Trade Apprentices): ITI passed in the respective trade from a Govt. recognized institute.

Qualification (Graduate/Diploma Apprentices): Degree or Diploma in the respective Engineering discipline from a Govt. recognized institute or university. Non-engineering posts need the notified qualification, such as BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, BBA, B.Sc Nursing, GNM, Physiotherapy, DMLT, DRT, DXT, DOTT, PGDCA (DEO) or D.Pharma.

Age limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years as on 31 October 2026.

Age relaxation: Reservation follows Govt. of Chhattisgarh guidelines, with applicable age relaxation. The notification does not give category-wise figures.

Passing year:

  • Only candidates who passed the qualifying exam in the last five years (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026) are eligible
  • Only regular candidates who completed the qualifying exam are eligible
  • Candidates whose result is not declared by the last date of application are not eligible

Exclusions: Candidates who have completed, or are doing, apprenticeship training, or who have one year of job experience, are not eligible.

  5. Degree/Diploma candidates: log in to NATS, go to Establishments Requests, click Find Establishments, select Steel Authority of India Limited, Bhilai Steel Plant and apply for your branch.
  6. Fill in correct details and upload scanned copies of all mandatory documents.

  7. Make sure your bank account is DBT enabled and KYC verified.
