ICAR-IASRI IT Professional Bharti 2026 - 9 Posts

IT Professional ICAR-IASRI Bharti 2026 is a walk-in interview for 9 IT Professional posts (Levels I to V) under the ICT Unit of ICAR-Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute, Pusa, New Delhi. The interview is on 28 October 2026 from 10:30 AM. There is no online application; candidates attend in person.

The notification is dated 07 October 2026 (File No. 1(2)/2022-R.Cell Part-I, E-184812). The posts are under the project 'ICT based E-governance activities'. Appointment is purely contractual and co-terminus with the project. Selected candidates cannot claim regular ICAR employment. Interview can be given in English or Hindi.

IT Professional-I (1 post)

• 3-year Diploma after 10+2 in CS/IT/ECE, OR BCA, OR B.Sc. in CS/IT, OR Graduation with 1 year Computer Diploma.
• Desirable: experience in website/portal development (ASP.NET, Java, PHP, Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, HTML5, Bootstrap), DTP, Photoshop, Corel Draw, video conferencing, network management, data entry, infographics.

IT Professional-II (4 posts)

• 3-year Diploma after 10+2 in CS/IT/EC, BCA, B.Sc. (CS/IT) or Graduation with 1 year Computer Diploma, each with 4 years' experience.
• OR B.Tech. (CSE/IT) with 2 years' experience in relevant field.
• OR Master's in CS/IT/Software Engineering/Information Security/Computer Engineering/MCA/M.Tech. with 1 year experience.
• OR Ph.D. in Computer Science/IT/Computer Application or equivalent.
• Desirable: web portal development, mobile app development (Android, Windows Mobile, iPhone, iPad), infographics, technical report writing, GIMP, content writing, database design, CMS/LMS knowledge.

IT Professional-III (2 posts)

• B.Tech. (CSE/IT) with 4 years' experience in relevant field.
• OR Master's in CS/IT/Computer Engineering/Software Engineering/Information Security/MCA/M.Tech. with 2 years' experience.
• OR Ph.D. in Computer Science/IT/Computer Application or equivalent.
• Desirable: web portal and mobile app development, project management, documentation and reporting, database and server management, CMS/LMS.

IT Professional-IV (1 post)

• B.Tech. (CSE/IT) with 6 years' experience, OR Master's (CS/IT/Computer Engineering/MCA/M.Tech.) with 3 years' experience, OR Ph.D. with 2 years' experience in relevant field.
• AND any one certification: MCTS/MCPD/MCSD/OCAJP/SCJP/Red Hat/MCDBA in system administration of Unix/Linux/Windows servers, virtualization, SAN, backup, security or database administration.
• Desirable: web and mobile app development, Linux/Windows server administration, IIS/Apache/Tomcat configuration (Drupal, Moodle, WordPress, Joomla), website hosting.

IT Professional-V (1 post)

• B.Tech. (CSE/IT) with 8 years' experience, OR Master's with 5 years' experience, OR Ph.D. with 3 years' experience in relevant field.
• AND any one certification as listed for IT-IV.
• Desirable: OS administration (Windows/Linux/UNIX), network and security management, SAN and tape/disk backup (IBM, EMC), cluster/HACMP and load balancer, MS Exchange/Lync/AD support, Oracle ERP suite management, remote end-user support, team management.

Age limit (as on date of interview)

NET equivalence: Exams by central bodies like CSIR-UGC, ICMR, ICAR, DAE, DST, DBT and GATE are treated as NET (DST OM dated 21.10.2014), where NET/GATE is applicable.

2. Check which IT Professional post (I to V) matches your qualification and experience.
3. Download and fill Annexure-I (application form). Also fill Annexure-II or Annexure-III as applicable.
4. If a near or distant relative works at ICAR/IASRI, fill and bring the scanned Annexure-III with name, designation, nature of duties and relationship.
5. Arrange one complete set of original documents plus one photocopy set, with a passport size photo and your resume.
6. If currently employed, get a No Objection Certificate from your present employer.
7. Reach ICAR-IASRI, Library Avenue, Pusa, New Delhi-110012 on 28 October 2026 at 10:30 AM. Entry closes at 1:00 PM.
8. Appear for the walk-in interview with your documents. Keep checking the IASRI website for any update.
