🩺 Experience Requirement

Minimum 5 YEARS experience in:

✔ Government service as Medical Officer Class-II

OR

✔ PSU / Municipal body / Govt-aided hospital

OR

✔ Recognised hospital or trust

OR

✔ Equivalent public-health position

 

Private-sector candidates must submit salary proof + Form-16 / ITR + Bank Statements when asked.

 

🎯 Age Limit

Maximum Age: 42 years (as on last date of application)

Relaxation:

• Women – 5 yrs (max 45)

• PwD – 10 yrs (max 45)

• SC / ST / SEBC / EWS – as per Gujarat rules

📝 Selection Process Explained Clearly

Recruitment has two stages:

🧪 Stage-1: Preliminary Examination

• MCQ based

• 200 Questions – 200 Marks

• Time: 180 Minutes

• Subject: Public Health / Medical field

• Minimum 25% required to qualify

📍 Usually held at Ahmedabad / Gandhinagar.

 

🎤 Stage-2: Interview

Short-listed candidates appear before GPSC board.
