Eligibility

Qualification: Candidates must hold a B.A., B.Com, B.Sc., B.C.A. or B.B.A. degree through Regular, External or Open/Distance Learning mode from a university recognized by UGC/AICTE, with a minimum average of 55% marks in the last year or last two semesters. Any programme through Open Distance Learning or online mode must be NAAC accredited with a minimum score of 3.01 on a 4-point scale, or NBA accredited with at least 650 points on a 1000-point scale. The percentage specified is the exact requirement; no rounding off or upward adjustment is permitted.

Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 45 years as on the date of publication of the advertisement, i.e. 07/07/2026, after all applicable relaxations. Maximum age limit is not applicable to departmental candidates, who shall otherwise be treated at par with outside applicants.

PwBD Eligibility: Only Person with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) candidates can apply under this special drive. Cut-off Marks & Relaxations: The minimum qualifying marks for both Tier-I and Tier-II examinations is 45 out of 100. A grace of 5% marks over actual marks secured in the 2nd Tier exam is given to Widow Female Candidates (not applicable if remarried). If category-wise PwBD candidates are not available, vacancies will be filled by inter-changeability from available PwBD candidates as per merit.

Eligibility Conditions

  1. Candidates must fulfil all requisite criteria before applying, as full documents are not sought at the time of online application; original documents will be verified at a later stage and candidature cancelled if found ineligible.
  2. Departmental candidates can apply on fulfilling the requisite qualification, and the maximum age limit will not apply to them; they will be treated at par with outside applicants.
  3. Only the Caste (Reserved Category) Certificate of Gujarat State will be considered; SEBC candidates must submit a valid Non-Creamy Layer Certificate, and EWS candidates must submit a valid certificate as per the prescribed resolution.
  4. ST category candidates will be given provisional appointment, confirmed only after caste certificate verification by the scrutiny committee of the Tribal Development Department.

Application & Fee

  1. Application fee of Rs. 250/- (inclusive of GST) is non-refundable and payable only online; no other mode of payment (DD, Money Order, Postal Order, Cheque) is accepted.
  2. Candidates who complete the online application process and successful payment alone will be considered for the further selection process.
  3. Objections to the provisional answer key for Tier-I or Tier-II exams may be raised by paying Rs. 500 per question online; the fee is refunded if the objection is found valid.

Communication & Document Verification

  1. Candidates working in Government/Semi-Government/PSU organizations must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of document verification, failing which candidature will be rejected.
  2. Entry to the examination centre (1st and 2nd Tier) will be given only after verification of original photo identity proof issued by Government authority.
  3. Selected candidates must produce a relieving letter from their previous employer at the time of joining, failing which the appointment order will be cancelled.
  4. All communication with candidates will be made only through their registered email.

Fraud/Canvassing Warning

  1. Canvassing in any form will debar the candidate from selection.
  2. Impersonation, leaking or attempting to leak question papers, or using unauthorized means during the exam will lead to debarment; if detected after the exam but before appointment, the result will be treated as null and void, and any appointment already made will be cancelled ab-initio.
  3. If any submitted document is found false or fabricated, or material information is suppressed, the candidate's services may be terminated as per Clause-16 of GSO.7 dated 04.10.1960.
