SAIL Rourkela Doctor Bharti 2026 - 12 Posts (Specialist & GDMO)

SAIL Rourkela Doctor Bharti 2026 is a walk-in interview by Central Mining and Logistics Organisation (CMLO), SAIL, for 12 contractual Consultant posts: Specialist (General Medicine) and GDMO. MBBS doctors can attend the interview on 10 November 2026.

The notification is Advt. No. 05/2026 dated 14 October 2026, issued from Rourkela Steel Plant, Odisha. Doctors will serve in the hospitals of Bolani Ore Mines (BOM), Barsuan Iron Mines (BIM) and Kalta Iron Mines (KIM) under the Odisha Group of Mines. Gujarat doctors can also apply, but there is no online application: you must attend in person at Rourkela. No TA/DA is paid for the interview.

Specialist (General Medicine) – 1 post: MBBS with PG Degree / DNB in General Medicine from a university or institute recognized by MCI / NMC / NBE.

GDMO – 11 posts: MBBS from a university or institute recognized by MCI / NMC / NBE. Internship must be completed.

Registration: Doctors must be registered with MCI / NMC / State Medical Council, or hold a valid practitioner license and be enrolled in the State Register or National Register, as applicable.

Age limit: Maximum 69 years as on 14/10/2026. The tenure of engagement is subject to an upper age limit of 70 years. No minimum age is stated.

Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian national.

Ex-employees: Ex-employees of SAIL and other PSUs/Government can apply, except those who separated through Voluntary Retirement.

Reservation: The Presidential directive on reservation for SCs and STs will be followed. No age or marks relaxation is mentioned.

2. Download and fill in the Application Format (Annexure-A) given with the notification.
3. Paste one recent passport size colour photograph on the form.
   • Keep the form neatly filled and signed
4. Arrange all certificates in original, plus one set of self-attested photocopies.
5. Reach the venue on 10 November 2026 between 9:30 am and 11:30 am: Office of HR–Talent Acquisition, Ground Floor, 'E' Block, Administration Building, Rourkela Steel Plant, Raurkela–769011 (Odisha).
6. Submit your form and documents for verification. Candidates without original documents will not be allowed to appear for the interview.
7. Appear for the walk-in interview as per the call of the selection team.

Academic & Professional

• Certificates and mark sheets of the required qualification
• Internship Completion Certificate
• Valid Registration Certificate issued by Medical Council of India or State Medical Council
• Experience certificate(s) for relevant post-qualification experience, if any

Category & Employment

• Caste/Category certificate, wherever applicable
• NOC from present employer, if employed in a PSU/Autonomous Body/Government Department
• Service Certificate from the parent organization (for retired employees)
• Self-certificate that you did not separate through Voluntary Retirement (for ex-employees of SAIL and other PSUs/Government)
