Surat Municipal Corporation Honorary Coach Bharti 2026 - 8 Posts

The Honorary Coach Surat Municipal Corporation Bharti 2026 is open for 8 Honorary Coach (Contractual) posts in the South East Zone. Eligible candidates can apply online until 24 October 2026.

This is a contract-basis recruitment on a fixed monthly honorarium for the Sports Complex at Navagam Dindoli, Surat. It is notified under Advertisement P.R.O. No. 263 dated 29/09/2026. The posts will be filled as per the decision of the Standing Committee (Resolution No. 1087/2026, dated 18/09/2026) for 11 months. A waiting list will also be prepared from the applications received.

Sports covered: Table Tennis, Badminton, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Judo, Karate and Gym (1 post each).

Qualification (any one of the following):

• NIS or equivalent degree from SAI, Gandhinagar (course of at least 6 months), plus at least 1 year experience as a coach in the sport, OR
• C.P.Ed / D.P.Ed / M.P.Ed pass, physically fit and active in sports, OR a Gym instructor / physical education teacher, OR
• H.S.C. pass with a medal at national or state level in any one sport, OR experience as a coach for 2 years

Note: Among national or state-level medal holders in any one sport, preference will be given in selection.

Age limit: Maximum 50 years.

Equivalent qualification: Candidates claiming an equivalent qualification must submit the equivalence orders or authority details with the application. If marks are given in grades, they must be converted to percentage as per university rules.

2. Download and read the PDF notification for the post carefully before applying.
3. Complete User Registration with email address, mobile number and captcha, then verify with the OTP sent to the mobile number.
4. Complete your account by entering first name, last name and a password, then verify your email through the link received.
5. Log in and fill in your User Profile: name, date of birth, Aadhaar details, address and languages known (English / Hindi / Gujarati).
   • Name and date of birth must match the school leaving certificate
   • Enter the same mobile number you will keep active until recruitment ends
6. Click Apply Now against the Honorary Coach post and fill the application form, including educational qualification and experience details with institution name, period, designation and monthly salary.
7. Tick the documents you are submitting and enter the system-generated text code, then accept the declaration (Yes/No) and click Submit Application.
8. Upload your photo (5 cm height x 3.6 cm width, up to 150 KB) and signature (2.5 cm height x 7.5 cm width, up to 50 KB) in JPG/JPEG/PNG format.
9. Check the application preview, download or print it, and click Confirm. A confirmation message will be sent to your registered mobile number.
