Educational Qualification
- Graduate Apprentice (Finance): B.Com or BBA degree
- Graduate Apprentice (Electrical/Civil): Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology in Electrical or Civil
- Graduate Apprentice (Electronics/Tele Communication): Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Communication/Tele Communication OR Computer Science/IT
- Graduate Apprentice (Mechanical): Degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering from statutory university or recognized professional body
- Graduate Apprentice (HR): Degree in any stream with knowledge of computer and administrative work
- Diploma Apprentice (Electrical/Civil): Diploma in Electrical or Civil Engineering
- Diploma Apprentice (Mechanical): Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering
- Minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidates) from recognized institution
- Candidates must have passed on or after 01.04.2022; not more than 5 years since passing as on joining date
- Should not have completed apprenticeship elsewhere or have 1+ year job experience post-qualification
Salary
- Graduate Apprentice: Rs. 15,000/month (Rs. 8,850 from Establishment + Rs. 6,150 Government share via DBT from BOAT)
- Diploma Apprentice: Rs. 12,000/month (Rs. 6,550 from Establishment + Rs. 5,450 Government share via DBT from BOAT)
- Training duration: One year for all categories

- Minimum 18 years, Maximum 26 years (as on 31.07.2026)
- SC/ST relaxation: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) relaxation: 3 years

- Applications received only through NATS portal will be considered
Important Notes
- Only candidates domiciled in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, or UT of Diu, residing near the respective airport, are eligible
- Candidates can apply for only ONE discipline; multiple discipline applications will be rejected
- No obligation on AAI to offer regular employment after apprenticeship completion (as per Apprenticeship Amendment Rules 2015)
- Apprentices who successfully complete 1 year of training in AAI are exempted from application fees for future direct recruitment in AAI
- Candidates awaiting final year results may apply, subject to qualifying and certificate production
- Change in mailing address/category/discipline/qualification/bank details post-registration will not be entertained
