Educational Qualification
- Post A & B (Process Technician/Operator - Chemical): Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Chemical Technology through full-time AICTE-approved course, with minimum 1 year post-qualification work experience/apprenticeship in Refining/Petroleum/Power/Lube/Petrochemical/Fertilizer Industry
- Post C (Technician/Operator - Mechanical): Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 1 year relevant experience
- Post D (Technician - Electrical): Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Electrical Power System/Electrical Engineering (Industrial Control) with 1 year relevant experience
- Minimum 60% aggregate marks for GEN/EWS/OBC(NCL); 50% for SC/ST/PwBD against reserved vacancies
- Diplomas via Part-time/Correspondence/Distance Learning not accepted; higher qualifications (B.E./B.Tech/AMIE) make candidate ineligible
Salary
- Basic Pay: ₹26,500/- (minimum, NG-2 Grade), scale ₹26,500 - ₹34,000
- Industrial pattern Dearness Allowance (DA) and other allowances as per Corporation rules
Age Limit
- Minimum 18 years, Maximum 25 years (as on 01.07.2026) for General/EWS
- OBC(NCL) relaxation: 3 years
- SC/ST relaxation: 5 years
- PwBD relaxation: 10 years (up to 15 years for SC/ST-PwBD, up to 13 years for OBC(NCL)-PwBD)
- Combined relaxation capped at 15 years
- Ex-Servicemen: actual military service deducted from age

- Disputes subject to jurisdiction of Bombay High Court (Post A) and Kerala High Court (Post B, C, D)
- Corporation reserves right to post/transfer selected candidates to any BPCL location based on business requirements
