Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology (Regular/Full Time, 10+2+4 pattern) in specified disciplines:
- Design Trainee: Aeronautical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Computer Science, Metallurgy
- Management Trainee: Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, Metallurgy, Production, Civil
- Minimum aggregate marks: 70% (UR/OBC-NCL/EWS), 60% (SC/ST/PwBD)
- Final year candidates may apply subject to meeting aggregate marks up to last semester; must produce final degree proof at interview
- Only Full Time/Regular courses considered; Part-time/Correspondence/Distance Education not eligible
Salary
- Training Stipend: Basic Pay Rs. 50,000 + Variable Dearness Allowance + Canteen Allowance + Bachelor Accommodation
- Post-training (as Engineer): Grade-II Pay Scale Rs. 50,000 - 1,60,000 + VDA + Perks/Allowances + HRA + Performance Related Pay + Medical/PF/Gratuity benefits
Age Limit
- Maximum age: 28 years as on 14.08.2026 (UR/EWS)
- SC/ST relaxation: 5 years
- OBC (NCL) relaxation: 3 years
- PwBD relaxation: 10 years (additional to SC/ST/OBC relaxation)
- J&K domiciled (1980-1989): 5 years
- Ex-Servicemen: up to 5 years
- Maximum age after all relaxations: 56 years (PwBD), 55 years (others)
