Eligibility

Nationality: Candidate must be a Citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 with intent to settle permanently, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from specified countries with intent to settle permanently in India (subject to an eligibility certificate from the Government of India for certain categories).

Qualification: Post-specific technical/professional qualifications are listed in Annexure-I of the official notification and vary by post and scale. Where minimum 60% marks is stipulated, SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates applying against reserved vacancies get a 5% relaxation (i.e. 55% required). Percentage must be calculated to two decimals; CGPA/OGPA must be converted to percentage; fractions are ignored (e.g. 59.99% is treated as less than 60%).

  1. Visit the official Bank of India website www.bankofindia.bank.in and click on 'CAREER', then select the link for 'Recruitment of Officers in various streams upto Scale IV - Project No. 2026-27/02 Notice dated 01.08.2026'.
  2. Click on 'APPLY ONLINE' to open the registration screen.
    • Choose 'Click here for New Registration'
    • Enter your Name, Contact details and Email ID
    • Note down the system-generated Provisional Registration Number and Password (also sent by email/SMS)
  3. Log in with your Registration Number and Password to fill the application form. Use 'SAVE AND NEXT' to save progress if the form cannot be completed in one sitting.
  4. Upload the required scanned documents as per the prescribed specifications:
    • Passport-style colour photograph (200x230 px, 20-50 KB)
    • Signature in black ink (140x60 px, 10-20 KB)
    • Left thumb impression (240x240 px, 20-50 KB)
    • Hand-written declaration in English (800x400 px, 50-100 KB)
  5. Fill in educational qualification, professional experience, and other post-specific eligibility details, and upload supporting documents for the same.
  6. Click 'Validate your details' and 'Save & Next', then use the Preview tab to check the complete application before final submission.
  7. Click 'COMPLETE REGISTRATION' only after verifying all details, photograph, signature, thumb impression and declaration are correct, since no changes are allowed afterward.
  8. Proceed to the 'Payment' tab and pay the application fee/intimation charges online using Credit/Debit Card, Internet Banking, Mobile Wallet, QR or UPI.
  9. On successful payment, an e-Receipt will be generated. Take a printout of the e-Receipt and the final system-generated online application form for your records.

Communication & Document Verification

  1. Call letters for exam/interview will be sent only via the registered email ID and mobile number; no hard copies will be sent by post.
  2. Candidates serving in Government/PSU offices must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer at interview, failing which their candidature will not be considered.
  3. Original documents along with self-attested photocopies must be produced at the time of interview; non-production makes the candidate ineligible for further process.
