BEL Project Engineer-I Bharti 2026 - 14 Posts (Bengaluru EW&A SBU)

BEL Project Engineer Bharti 2026 is announced by Bharat Electronics Limited, a Navratna company under the Ministry of Defence. BEL needs 14 Project Engineer-I on temporary basis for its Electronic Warfare & Avionics Strategic Business Unit at Bangalore Complex. Candidates need a full-time 4-year engineering degree and more than 2 years of industry experience. The last date to apply online is 23 October 2026.

This is Advertisement No. 383/HR/EW&A/2026-27 dated 09 October 2026, issued by the Human Resources Division (EW&A SBU), Jalahalli Post, Bengaluru. The 14 posts are split into 8 for Electronics and 6 for Computer Science. Only Indian nationals can apply. This is a good chance for Gujarat engineers with defence electronics or embedded software experience, as the posting is in Bengaluru.

Educational Qualification:

• Full-time B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc Engineering (4-year course) with Pass Class from a recognized University / Institution in the relevant discipline
• Must be from an AICTE / UGC approved college, institute or recognized university
• No minimum percentage is specified; Pass Class is enough

Experience Required (as on 01.10.2026):

• More than 2 years of relevant post-qualification industrial experience
• Teaching, academic and research work is not counted as experience
• Experience in banking and financial institutions, non-profit organisations and internships that are part of the academic course is not counted

Job Skills - Project Engineer-I (ECE):

• RF systems and antennas, Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
• FPGAs, DSP, memory mapping; design of FPGA-based digital and embedded systems using VHDL
• MATLAB Simulink, Signal Processing Toolbox, device driver development
• Vivado and Vitis platform; knowledge of DO-254 standard is preferable

Job Skills - Project Engineer-I (CSE):

• Windows 10/11 based application development
• C/C++ with VxWorks, Python, DSP, AI/ML implementation
• BSP and device driver development for VxWorks; use of LDRA tools
• AI domain expertise and knowledge of DO-178 standard is preferable

Age Limit (as on 01.10.2026):

PwBD candidates (minimum 40% disability) get an extra 10 years on top of the OBC-NCL/SC/ST relaxation. Ex-servicemen relaxation is as per Govt. guidelines.
