IRCON Graduate & Diploma Apprentice Bharti 2026 invites online applications for 54 one-year apprentice posts under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. Eligibility

Graduate Apprentices (qualification as on 01.10.2026)

  • Civil, Electrical, S&T: Graduate or equivalent in relevant Engineering/Technology stream.
  • Human Resource: Full-time BBA from a recognized university.
  • Finance: Full-time B.Com from a recognized university.
  • Rajbhasha: Full-time BA (Hindi) from a recognized university.
  • CSR: Full-time Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from a recognized university.
  • Legal: Full-time LLB from a recognized university.
  • Information Technology: Full-time B.Sc / BCA / B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science or IT from a recognized university.

Technician (Diploma) Apprentices

  • Civil and Electrical: Diploma or equivalent in relevant Engineering/Technology stream.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01.10.2026.

Other Eligibility Conditions

  • Age and qualification are counted as on the cut-off date 01.10.2026.
  • Candidates should not have completed more than 3 years after passing the qualifying exam. Only those who passed in 2026, 2025, 2024 and on or after 01.07.2023 can apply.
  • Result awaited, supplementary and back paper candidates cannot apply.
  • Candidates who already did apprenticeship training in IRCON or any other organization cannot apply.
  • Candidates with one year or more of training or job experience after education are not eligible.

Percentage and CGPA Rules

  • Enter percentage without rounding off, as shown in the consolidated mark sheet. If none is issued, average of all semesters/years is used.
  • If the university gives no CGPA conversion, 6 on a 10-point scale is treated as 60%. Other scales are prorated.
  • If the university gives a conversion, enter that equivalent percentage and carry a certificate from the university for verification.

How to apply

  1. Read the full advertisement (Advt. No. A01/2026) and confirm you meet all eligibility conditions.
  2. Register yourself as a Student on the government portal www.mhrdnats.gov.in and keep your unique NATS registration number ready.
  3. Visit www.ircon.org and go to Careers, then HR & Career, then Engagement of Apprentices under Apprentices Act, 1961. Applications are open from 16.10.2026 to 05.11.2026.
  4. Create your account using your own email ID and mobile number, and set a password. Login details are sent to your email. If you already have an IRCON portal account, simply log in.
  5. Read the instructions page, then fill in the application form.

  6. Upload the photo, signature and required documents in the prescribed size and format.
  7. Preview the form and check every detail carefully. Details cannot be changed after final submission.
  8. Submit the form and download the PDF printout. Sign it at the bottom right corner under the declaration.
  9. Send the signed printout with self-attested photocopies of documents to: Manager/HRM, IRCON International Limited, C-4, District Centre, Saket, New Delhi-110017. It must reach on or before 17.11.2026.

Important notes

General Guidelines

  1. If seats in any discipline stay vacant due to lack of eligible candidates, they can be moved to another discipline.
  2. If enough reserved category candidates are not available, rule 5 (1 & 2) of the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 will apply.
  3. Training period is one year. No extension is allowed after one year.
  4. After the apprenticeship, the apprentice has no claim to any employment in IRCON.
  5. Candidates must arrange their own accommodation and meals.
  6. Selected candidates will be deployed at various projects and offices as per availability of slots.

Stipend Details

  1. As per NATS revised rates from 01.04.2026, 50% of the minimum prescribed stipend is paid by the Government of India through DBT to the apprentice's Aadhaar-seeded bank account.
  2. For Graduate Apprentices the revised minimum rate is Rs 12,300 per month (Rs 6,150 by GoI and Rs 7,850 by IRCON).
  3. For Technician (Diploma) Apprentices the revised minimum rate is Rs 10,900 per month (Rs 5,450 by GoI and Rs 6,550 by IRCON).

Application Conditions

  1. Only one application per candidate per location for a particular post is allowed.
  2. Incomplete online applications will be rejected summarily.
  3. Use a valid email ID that stays active for at least one year.
  4. Any false declaration makes the candidate ineligible, and the candidate may face prosecution.
  5. Candidature is considered only if the signed printout and self-attested documents reach IRCON by the due date.
  6. Any mismatch between online details and documents leads to rejection.

Communication & Document Verification

  1. The shortlist will be shown on the IRCON website and call letters will be sent by email only.
  2. IRCON is not responsible for loss of email caused by a wrong email ID or for missed updates.
  3. Check the website and your email regularly. Addendum or corrigendum will be shown only on www.ircon.org under HR & Career.
