ISRO DOS Accounts Officer (Finance) Bharti 2026 - 1 Post

Accounts Officer Finance DOS ISRO Bharti 2026 is a deputation vacancy for 1 post in the Office of Joint Secretary (Finance), Department of Space Secretariat, Bengaluru. Applications must reach within 30 days from the date of the Office Memorandum, 26 October 2026, i.e. by 25 November 2026.

The notification is Advt No. A.26012/1/2023-I (Vol.II). This is not a direct recruitment. The post is to be filled from Central Services Group-A officers working in Central Government Ministries/Departments who have experience in financial accounting, scrutiny of financial proposals and financial advice. Deputation is governed by DoPT OM No. 6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay-II) dated 17.06.2010, as amended. The post is a pivotal assignment needing wide knowledge at a responsible position.

Who can apply:

• Central Services Group-A Officers working in Central Government Ministries/Departments
• Holding analogous posts on regular basis; OR
• With 5 years of regular service in Pay Level 10

Educational qualification:

• Essential: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institution
• Desirable: Pass in Subordinate Accounts Service Examination of any organized Accounts Department of the Central Government; OR
• Desirable: Relevant training in Accounts/Budget/Financial Accounting procedures conducted by ISTM or any other recognized institute

Experience: Wide knowledge and experience at a responsible position in financial accounting, scrutiny of financial proposals and rendering financial advice.

Duties: Scrutiny of financial proposals (Budget, Projects, Civil Works, Manpower, purchase of stores and equipment, engineering contracts, global tenders etc.) received from the Department, and financial advice on matters referred to the Joint Secretary (Finance) Office, including Service Rules matters.

Age: Maximum 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

Period of deputation: Including another ex-cadre post held immediately before, it shall not exceed 5 years.

Exclusion: Officers working in DOS/ISRO are not eligible to apply.

3. Get the Annexure-B certificate filled by the Employer/Head of Office/Forwarding Authority.
4. Collect attested copies of APARs for the preceding 5 years.
5. Obtain the No Objection Certificate from the Cadre Controlling Authority.
6. Submit everything to the forwarding authority so that it is sent through proper channel.
