NIELIT Programmer Bharti 2026 - Asst Programmer, Sr Programmer & Sr System Analyst (6 Positions)

NIELIT Programmer Bharti 2026 has been announced by NIELIT Delhi Centre for empanelment of IT Resource Persons in 6 positions: Asst Programmer 'B', Sr. Programmer and Sr. System Analyst. Candidates with a B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech or MCA in Computer Science or IT can apply online through a Google Form till 17 November 2026.

The recruitment comes under Advertisement No. 07/356/2026/NDL/FM, dated 03 November 2026. All six roles are in the cyber security domain (ISGC), covering work such as SOC operations, SIEM log analysis, incident response, endpoint auditing, vulnerability assessment and security configuration analysis.

This is an empanelment, not a direct permanent recruitment. Shortlisted candidates stay on a NIELIT panel and are deployed in specific Government departments purely on contract, based on client requirement. It is a central-level notification, so IT graduates from Gujarat and other states can also apply if they meet the eligibility.

Educational Qualification (same for all 6 positions)

• B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science & Information Technology or Computer Applications
• OR MCA
• OR B.Sc (Computer Science Engg. - 4 year degree course)
• Degree must be from an AICTE/UGC recognized institute, or an equivalent qualification as per Govt. of India rules
• Qualification must be from a Govt. University or Govt. recognized University/Institution

Post-Qualification Experience (as on 17-11-2026)

• Asst Programmer 'B' 1 & 2 (C) ISGC: 1+ year in the relevant field
• Sr. Programmer 1 & 2 (C) ISGC: 3+ years in the relevant field
• Sr. System Analyst 1 & 2 (C) ISGC: 6+ years in the relevant field

• SOC Analyst (Asst Programmer 'B' 1 & 2): Firewall/IPS/UTM, SOC operations, SIEM log analysis, incident triage, ticketing, alert acknowledgment, advanced correlation, threat hunting, incident investigation, root cause analysis, endpoint/server security
• Endpoint Auditor (Sr. Programmer 1): Red Hat Linux, VAPT, InfoSec audit and compliance, system administration, security tool configuration analysis, endpoint forensics and auditing, Active Directory administration, endpoint/server security
• Incident Response Analyst (Sr. Programmer 2): Firewall/IPS/UTM, SOC operations, IPSec/SSL VPN devices, SIEM log analysis, incident triage, threat hunting, incident investigation, root cause analysis, security tool configuration analysis, endpoint/server security
• Sr. SOC Analyst (Sr. System Analyst 1): Firewall/IPS/UTM, SOC operations, IPSec/SSL VPN, VAPT, InfoSec audit and compliance, system administration, Red Hat OS administration, project management, SIEM, threat hunting, incident investigation, endpoint forensics and auditing
• Configuration Analyst (Sr. System Analyst 2): Firewall/WAF/IPS/UTM, VAPT, project management, SIEM log analysis, incident investigation, root cause analysis, security controls/tools configuration analysis

Eligibility Cut-off Date

Qualification, experience and age are all counted as on 17-11-2026. If the last date is extended, this cut-off date will not change.

Who Is Not Eligible

Candidates whose final semester result is awaited, or whose degree is incomplete, cannot apply.

5. Enter your qualification, post-qualification experience and the position you are applying for, along with the fee payment details.
6. Submit the form. It is treated as successfully submitted only after the fee is paid by 17-11-2026.
7. For more than one position, submit a separate form and pay a separate fee for each.
