RITES Senior Technical Assistant Bharti 2026 - 31 Civil Diploma Posts (Southern Region)

RITES Senior Technical Assistant Bharti 2026 is open for 31 Senior Technical Assistant posts on a contract lumpsum basis in the Southern region. Candidates with a full-time Diploma in Civil Engineering and 2 years of relevant experience can apply online on the RITES website until 22 November 2026.

The recruitment is notified under VC No. CL/12/26. RITES Ltd. is a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, working as a multi-disciplinary consultancy in transport, infrastructure and related technologies. The vacancies are for projects in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Lakshadweep, though selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India.

There is no domicile restriction, so Civil diploma holders from Gujarat and other states can also apply. Graduates and postgraduates in Civil Engineering are eligible too.

Educational Qualification

• Full-time Diploma in Civil Engineering from an institution recognised by BTE/AICTE, or from a recognised university/deemed university
• Higher qualification (Degree / PG Degree) in Civil Engineering is also accepted
• Sections A & B of the Institution of Engineers (India), recognised by AICTE, are accepted
• If the marksheet shows CGPA/DGPA, submit the university's conversion formula; if none exists, an undertaking from the university is needed, and 5 on a 10-point scale is taken as 50%

Minimum Marks in Qualification & Written Test

Experience

Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field of engineering, as on 22.11.2026. Training (except on-the-job training), internship, teaching, academic, fellowship or PhD research experience is not counted.

Age Limit & Relaxation (as on 22.11.2026)

Relaxation for Ex-servicemen and J&K domicile applies against reserved posts as per Govt. orders.

PwBD Suitability

• Post is identified for Locomotor Disability (One Arm, One Leg) and Hearing Impairment
• Physical requirements: sitting, standing, bending, walking, seeing, manipulation by fingers, communication, reading and writing
• PwBD candidates of these categories can apply against unreserved posts too, under general merit

Date of Acquiring Qualification

The earliest of: last day of the month of the final exam (or the exact exam date, if stated), result declaration date, final marksheet date or degree issue date.

1. Visit https://www.rites.com and open the Career section.
2. Find VC No. CL/12/26 (Senior Technical Assistant) and open the online registration form.
3. Fill the application form under "Fill/ Modify Application Form":
   • Personal and category details
   • Identity proof details (keep the same ID for later stages)
   • Qualification and experience details
   • Two preferred written test centres
4. Note down the Registration No. shown at the top of the form for all future communication.
5. Upload all supporting documents under the "Upload Document" section, with experience proof as one PDF in date order.
6. SC/ST/PwBD candidates must upload their category certificate at the payment stage to get the fee refund.
7. Pay the fee under "Make Payment" and make sure the invoice is generated.
8. Download the final application form, print it, sign it and keep it for the selection process.
