SBI SCO Recruitment 2026 - 6 GM, DGM & AI Architect Posts

SBI SCO GM Chief AI Officer Bharti 2026 is an official recruitment notification from State Bank of India for 6 Specialist Cadre Officer posts on Fixed Term Employment. Eligible candidates with a technical degree and 8 to 15+ years of experience can apply online from 19 October 2026 to 9 November 2026.

Qualification: GM & Chief AI Officer, DGM (Risk and Operational Analytics), DGM (AI Governance and Compliance), DGM (Data Engineering, Model Application Dev and AI Ops)

• B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science/IT/Electronics/Electrical & Electronics/Electronics & Communication or equivalent, OR M.Sc (Statistics/Computer Science), MA (Statistics), M.Stat, MCA from a recognised university
• Preferred: MBA/PGDM in finance; any certification in ML/AI/NLP, web crawling and neural networks

Qualification: AI Solution Architect

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, AI, Business Administration, Management or a related field
• Preferred: certification in AI solution architecture, business analysis or product management, and ML/AI/NLP certifications

Qualification: Enterprise AI Architect

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Data Science, AI or equivalent
• Preferred: TOGAF certification and any certification in enterprise AI architecture

Experience required

• GM & Chief AI Officer: 15+ years in Banking/BFSI/IT, with at least 3+ years of senior leadership in AI, analytics, model oversight, governance and business transformation. Leading a sizeable team and working with multiple stakeholders is required. Individual contributor experience does not count. Leadership experience in Scheduled Commercial Banks or Fortune 500 firms is preferred.
• DGM (Risk and Operational Analytics): 10+ years in Banking/BFSI/IT, with 2+ years in a senior leadership role in risk analytics, operational analytics, AI/ML model oversight and governance.
• DGM (AI Governance and Compliance): 10+ years in Banking/BFSI/IT, with 2+ years in senior leadership in AI governance, responsible AI, model risk management, compliance, data privacy, information security or technology risk.
• DGM (Data Engineering, Model Application Dev and AI Ops): 10+ years in Banking/BFSI/IT, with 2+ years in senior leadership in data engineering, AI/ML application development, MLOps/AI Ops and enterprise integration.
• AI Solution Architect: 8 years overall, including 3+ years in AI/analytics solutioning, digital transformation, technology consulting or solution architecture, preferably in BFSI.
• Enterprise AI Architect: 8 years overall technology experience, including 3+ years in enterprise, platform, data or AI architecture in large-scale AI/ML environments, preferably in BFSI or another regulated industry.

Age as on 30.09.2026

• GM & Chief AI Officer: 40 to 55 years
• All three DGM posts: 35 to 50 years
• AI Solution Architect and Enterprise AI Architect: 30 to 45 years

Other conditions

• Training and teaching experience is not counted for eligibility
• Qualification and experience must be full-time and held as on 30.09.2026
• Experience certificate must clearly show nature of duties, dates and duration, level/position and responsibilities
• If the degree does not state the specialisation, a certificate from the university or college is needed
• Candidates with adverse reports on character or moral turpitude are not eligible
• Age relaxation, if claimed, needs a valid certificate from the competent authority at document verification
