Candidates must meet any one of the following:
- An NIS degree or equivalent, or the 6-month course of the Sports Authority of India, Gandhinagar, with at least 1 year of coaching experience; OR
- CPEd/DPEd/MPEd qualification and physical fitness (PE teacher); OR
- HSC pass with participation at national/state level in the relevant sport, or 2 years of coaching experience.
