1. Post Name & Vacancy Details

PwBD Reserved Vacancies:

• CHS Medical Officer: 34 posts reserved for PwBD
• Railway ADMO: 18 posts reserved for PwBD (Locomotor Disability)
• MCD GDMO Grade-II: 2 posts reserved for PwBD

✅ SC, ST, OBC, EWS reservation applicable as per Central Government rules.

2. Educational Qualification

• Minimum: MBBS (written + practical final exam passed) from a recognized university
• Final Year Appearing: Candidates appearing in final MBBS exam may also apply provisionally
• Internship: Candidates who have not completed compulsory rotating internship are eligible to apply but will be appointed only after internship completion
• Only regular full-time MBBS accepted — no distance/correspondence course

3. Age Limit

Age Relaxation:

Born on or after 02 August 1994 (for 32-year limit) / 02 August 1991 (for 35-year limit).

4. Salary / Pay Scale

NPA = Non-Practising Allowance (Private practice is prohibited in all posts)

5. Selection Process

Stage 1 – Written Examination (500 Marks)

• Paper I: General Medicine & Paediatrics — 120 MCQs — 250 Marks — 2 Hours
• Paper II: Surgery + Gynaecology & Obstetrics + Preventive & Social Medicine — 120 MCQs — 250 Marks — 2 Hours
• Negative Marking: 1/3 marks deducted per wrong answer
• Question papers in English only, MBBS standard

Stage 2 – Personality Test / Interview (100 Marks)

• Candidates qualifying written exam called for Interview
• Tests general knowledge, medical knowledge, personality & leadership

Final Merit: Written Exam (500) + Interview (100) = 600 Marks

• 10th / Matriculation certificate (for date of birth proof)
• Category certificate — SC / ST / OBC / EWS (as applicable, issued after 01.04.2025)
• PwBD certificate from Government Hospital / Medical Board (if applicable)
• Internship completion certificate (at time of appointment)
• Passport-size photograph (scanned, JPG, 20 KB – 200 KB)
• Signature scan (JPG, 20 KB – 100 KB, sign 3 times on white paper in black ink)
• Valid Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN / Passport / Driving License

2. Create your account and generate your Universal Registration Number (URN) — one-time registration for lifetime
3. Complete the Common Application Form (CAF) — upload photo, signature, and live photo capture
4. Fill the Examination Specific Module for CMS 2026 — select exam centre, post preference, pay fee
5. Enter your GATE 2026 / educational / category details as required
6. Pay fee online via Net Banking / UPI / Card (if applicable)
7. Submit application before 31 March 2026 at 6:00 PM
8. Save and print the application confirmation for future reference
9. Download e-Admit Card from upsconline.nic.in before exam date
