Important notes

Engagement Terms

  1. The engagement is temporary and purely on contract basis.
  2. The initial period is 12 months. It can be extended yearly based on performance.
  3. The maximum period of engagement cannot go beyond 16.03.2030.
  4. Leave: 12 casual leaves and 12 paid leaves per calendar year, with compensatory off for extra duty. Paid leave can be carried forward but casual leave cannot.
  5. TA/DA is regulated like accommodation. Water, electricity and licence fee are recovered as per rules.
  6. All benefits follow company policy as amended from time to time.
  7. Appointment is subject to medical fitness as per company standards.

Selection

  1. Eligible candidates go through a single or multiple stage selection process. GAIL may raise the minimum standards to shortlist if applications are many.
  2. The selection includes a virtual interview before the Selection Committee. The process is tentative and may change.
