Laboratory Technician AIIMS Rajkot Bharti 2026 - 1 Post (NOHP-PCZ Project)

The Laboratory Technician AIIMS Rajkot Bharti 2026 invites applications for 1 post on contract basis in an externally funded research project. AIIMS Rajkot is hiring for the project National One Health Programme for Prevention and Control of Zoonoses (NOHP-PCZ), funded by the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), New Delhi. The last date to apply is 30 November 2026 up to 5 PM.

The notice is dated 26 October 2026 and carries Reference No. AIIMS/RAJKOT/NOHP-PCZ/2026/168 (Project EM/23/2025). The Principal Investigator is Dr. (Col) Ashwini Agarwal, Department of Microbiology. The first appointment is for eleven months and may be extended based on performance, continuation of the scheme and funding. The post is in Rajkot, Gujarat.

Essential qualification (any one):

• Graduate in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized University/Institute/Hospital; OR
• Diploma in MLT of at least 2 years' duration from a recognized University; OR
• Diploma/Certificate in MLT of at least 1 year's duration from a recognized University.

Desirable experience:

• 1 year of experience in a medical laboratory for those with a 2-year MLT diploma.
• 2 years of experience in a medical laboratory for those with a 1-year MLT diploma.
• 1 year of experience in a medical laboratory for a Science graduate.
• The experience should be from a recognized Central/State Government or Delhi Government hospital, institute, autonomous or private institute.
• Candidates with experience in a Quality Assured Laboratory are preferred.

Age limit: Up to 35 years. The age is counted on the last date of application (30 November 2026). No minimum age is stated.

Other conditions: Qualification and experience must be in a relevant field from a recognized institution and gained after the essential qualification. They may be relaxed or altered at the discretion of the Principal Investigator.
