  • Orthodontist (Post code 40): MDS in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics.
  • Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon (Post code 41): MDS in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
  • Conservative, Endodontics & Aesthetic Dentist (Post code 42): MDS in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics.
  • Periodontist (Post code 43): MDS in Periodontology.
  • Pedodontics & Preventive Dentist (Post code 44): MDS in Pedodontics & Preventive Dentistry.

The MDS must be from a recognized university or institution. Registration with the Dental Council of India (DCI) is required.

Age limit: Not more than 45 years, counted on the last date of online application (06/11/2026). No minimum age or category-wise age relaxation is mentioned.

Important notes

General Guidelines

  1. Posts are provisional. The Managing Director may amend, cancel or modify the advertisement, or change the number of vacancies.
  2. Initial tenure is 1 year on short-term contract. It may be renewed for 1 more year subject to satisfactory performance.
  3. Applicants must be free from any criminal conviction.
  4. Joining time is 7 days from receipt of the appointment letter, extendable up to 30 days with approval.
  5. If selected for several posts, you must choose one. Once you join, the others are released, and no later shift is allowed.
  6. All disputes are under the jurisdiction of the Courts of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.

Shortlisting and Selection

  1. Stage 1 scrutiny shortlists all applicants meeting age, qualification and experience criteria.
  2. If valid applicants for a post are more than ten, further scrutiny using objective criteria and a score is done.
  3. Missing supporting documents give zero score for that criterion.
  4. Candidates with equal scores are all shortlisted.
  5. The scrutiny committee may ask for clarification through e-mail or a virtual meeting. Not attending marks the candidate as non-responsive. New claims are not allowed after the closing date.
  6. Final selection is by the Selection Board on presentation and interview. The interview schedule is posted on the website at least one week in advance.

Communication and Document Verification

  1. All communication is by e-mail and SMS. No physical letter is sent.
  2. Shortlisted candidates must bring a printout of the application, one set of self-attested copies of all uploaded documents (one set per post code applied), the fee receipt and all originals.
  3. Failure to produce originals may cancel the candidature and bar the interview.
  4. Do not canvass or try to influence officials or the committee. This leads to disqualification.
