Recruitment Rules: Qualification and experience for Junior Faculty and Academic Support Staff are as per FDDI's Recruitment Rules for the respective positions.

Essential qualification – Junior Faculty (New Product Development), School of Footwear Design and Development:

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree (2 years after graduation) along with a diploma in Footwear Manufacturing / Footwear Design / Footwear Production, with minimum 55% marks
  • OR Bachelor's / Master's degree (2 years after graduation) in Footwear Technology with specialisation in Design, with minimum 55% marks

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of academic and/or industry experience in footwear design
  • Academic experience, if any, should be teaching UG degree or higher courses
  • Desirable: knowledge of manual design and 2D/3D shoe design software

Job requirement: Must be well-versed in designing and pattern engineering for footwear categories such as classic, sports, industrial, safety and orthopaedic.
