NLC India Apprentice Bharti 2026 - 1067 Posts (ITI Trade & Graduate)

NLC India Apprentice Bharti 2026 invites online applications for ITI Trade and Graduate (Non-Engineering) apprenticeship training at Neyveli and RO-Chennai. There are 1,067 training slots in total. Candidates need an ITI in the relevant trade or a regular Bachelor's degree. The last date to apply is 9 November 2026, 5:00 PM.

The notification is Advt. No. L&DC/04/2026, issued by the General Manager, Learning and Development Centre, NLC India Limited, a Navratna Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Coal. Only candidates hailing from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry can apply. The training period is 12 months. This is apprenticeship training, not a job, so it does not give any right to temporary or permanent employment in NLC India. Candidates from Gujarat are not eligible for this notification.

Qualification for Trade (ITI) Apprentice:

• Pass in ITI in the relevant trade from a recognised institute only
• Trades: Fitter, Turner, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Electrician, Wireman, Mechanic (Diesel), Stenographer, Welder, COPA, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic
• Year of passing is not applicable to ITI candidates

Qualification for Graduate (Non-Engineering) Apprentice:

• Regular full-time Bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline from a UGC-approved university
• Commerce: B.Com; Business Administration: BBA; Computer Science: BSc Computer Science; Computer Application: BCA
• Geology: BSc Geology; Micro Biology: BSc Micro Biology; Chemistry: BSc Chemistry
• Pharmacist (Allopathy): B.Pharm (Allopathy); Pharmacist (Ayurveda): B.Pharm (Ayurveda); Nursing: BSc Nursing
• Must have passed the qualifying examination in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026
• Candidates must produce a certificate from the University/Institute giving the equivalent aggregate percentage for CGPA/OGPA

Age: Minimum 18 years completed on or before 31-10-2026, as per Section 3(a) of the Apprenticeship Act 1961. No maximum age is stated in the notification.

Domicile: Candidates must hail from Tamil Nadu or Puducherry.

Reservation:

• Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD candidates is as per the Apprentices Act
• Reservation claims need certificates in the prescribed Government format
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate must be valid from 01-04-2026
• Without the required certificate, the candidate is treated as General category

Restrictions: Candidates who have already undergone, or are currently undergoing, NAPS/NATS or PM Interns scheme at NLC India or elsewhere are not eligible.

3. Click the link "Apply Online (Trade and Non Engineering Graduate Apprentice)" under Advt. No. L&DC/04/2026.
4. Fill in the online application form. The application opens on 21 October 2026, 10:00 AM.
5. Upload scanned copies of your documents in the given file type and size:
   • Photograph and signature in JPEG (up to 50 KB each)
   • Transfer Certificate in PDF or JPEG (up to 50 KB)
   • Aadhaar, mark sheets and certificates in PDF or JPEG (up to 250 KB)
6. Merge the educational documents into a single PDF where required (Graduate and ITI sets).
7. Complete and submit the application before 09 November 2026, 5:00 PM.
