BEML Assistant Manager & Engineer Bharti 2026 - 20 Posts

Assistant Manager Engineer BEML Bharti 2026 has been announced by BEML Limited, a Ministry of Defence undertaking, for 20 executive posts. Candidates with a first-class engineering degree and the required rolling stock, AMMS or safety experience must apply online by 22 October 2026 (6:00 PM).

This is Advertisement No. KP/S/17/2026, dated 23 September 2026. There are six positions across two grades: Grade-III Assistant Manager and Grade-II Engineer. Work areas include Testing and Commissioning of rolling stock, Asset Maintenance Management System (AMMS) and Occupational Safety, Health and Environment (OSHE).

BEML is expanding its production for projects such as Vande Bharat sleeper trains, metro coaches, armoured recovery vehicles and defence engines. Postings are in Surat (Gujarat), Chennai and Bangalore, with site work at customer locations across India.

Position-wise Qualification and Experience (all degrees must be full-time, first class, from a recognised university/institution):

• 101 - Assistant Manager T&C Rolling Stock (Electrical), Grade-III: Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Railway Engineering. Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in rolling stock (Metro/Commuter Rail), including at least 2 years in Testing, Commissioning and Maintenance. M.E/M.Tech is desirable.
• 102 - Assistant Manager T&C Rolling Stock (Mechanical), Grade-III: Degree in Mechanical/Railway Engineering. Same experience as position 101. M.E/M.Tech is desirable.
• 103 - Assistant Manager Asset Maintenance Management System (AMMS), Grade-III: Degree in CSE/IT. Minimum 5 years experience, with at least 3 years in implementing AMMS of rolling stock (Metro/Commuter Rail) or a maintenance management system such as Maximo, SAP or Trimble E2M/R2M. MCA is desirable.
• 104 - Assistant Manager Industrial Safety (OSHE), Grade-III: Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering plus Diploma in Industrial Safety from Central/Regional Labour Institutes or institutes recognised by the Department of Factories and Boilers. Minimum 5 years experience, with 4 years in safety management in a large engineering industry. Report writing skill is desirable.
• 105 - Engineer T&C Rolling Stock (Electrical), Grade-II: Degree in Electrical Engineering/Rail Vehicle Technology/Railway Engineering. Minimum 2 years experience in maintenance of rolling stock (Metro/Commuter Rail).
• 106 - Engineer T&C Rolling Stock (Mechanical), Grade-II: Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Rail Vehicle Technology/Railway Engineering. Minimum 2 years experience in maintenance of rolling stock.

Allied Branches: Engineering graduates from allied branches of Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/CSE/IT can also apply if they have the required post-qualification experience.

Experience Rule: Only experience gained after obtaining the required qualification counts. Age, qualification and experience are counted as on 22/10/2026.

Marks: First class means 60% aggregate across all semesters/years. Marks are relaxed by 5% for SC/ST and PwD candidates. CGPA/credit holders must provide the conversion to percentage.

Upper Age Limit (as on 22/10/2026):

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 years; OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
• PwD (minimum 40% disability): additional 10 years over the SC/ST/OBC relaxation
• All categories: upper age can be relaxed by the number of years of excess post-qualification experience beyond the prescribed minimum. Maximum age with relaxation cannot exceed 57 years.

Nationality and Employment Conditions:

• Only Indian nationals can apply.
• Employees of Central/State Government, autonomous bodies, quasi-government bodies and PSUs must have worked at least 1 year in the immediate lower scale (not applicable to Grade-II positions).
• Internal BEML executive-cadre candidates can apply through proper channel and must have at least 3 years of residual service on the closing date.

3. Register with a valid email ID and mobile number. These will be used for all communication and cannot be changed later. Note down the Registration Number generated.
4. Choose only one position code (101 to 106) that suits you best.
5. Fill personal and educational details correctly.
6. Fill the experience section:
   • Enter the latest experience first, then earlier ones, preferably position-wise
   • Write a pen picture of at least 150 words for each relevant experience, covering projects, roles, position and duration
   • Pen picture topic: codes 101, 102, 105, 106 - Testing, Commissioning and Maintenance of rolling stock handled; code 103 - AMMS or maintenance management system implementation; code 104 - safety management and OSHE implementation
7. Upload all required documents in the listed format. Applications without documents are rejected.
8. GEN / EWS / OBC candidates: pay the Rs. 500 fee using the Pay Application Fee Online link at the end of the form.
9. Take a print-out of the online application form. Government, PSU and autonomous body employees must send it through proper channel within 10 days of the closing date to the Assistant General Manager, Recruitment Cell, BEML Soudha, BEML Limited, 23/1, 4th Main, S.R. Nagar, Bengaluru 560027, or produce a position-specific No Objection Certificate at assessment.
