GCRI Ahmedabad Bharti 2026 - Research Officer & 90 Certificate Course Seats

GCRI Ahmedabad Bharti 2026 is an announcement by Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute dated 16 October 2026. The Research Officer posts are for the Population Based Cancer Registry (PBCR) Project - Ahmedabad Rural. The role involves overall project responsibility, staff supervision and training, coordination with district health authorities and private doctors, review meetings, data analysis and reporting to NCRP-ICMR. 1. Research Officer (2 posts, PBCR Project - Ahmedabad Rural)

• Essential: Master's / PG Diploma in Public Health from a recognised university/institution
• Desirable: Graduation in BDS / BHMS / BAMS and experience working with cancer institutes or large-scale public health programmes

2. Certificate Course in Radiology Imaging (20 seats)

• B.Sc from a recognised university
• Passed X-Ray Technician course conducted by a Government institute or a medical college recognised by the Medical Council of India

3. Certificate Course in Laboratory Technology (20 seats)

• B.Sc (Microbiology / Biochemistry)
• Passed a one-year Laboratory Technician training course conducted by a Government recognised institute/university

4. Certificate Course in Nursing Oncology (50 seats)

• B.Sc Nursing or GNM

5. Age Limit

Not more than 35 years for all courses and the Research Officer post. The notification does not mention an as-on date or any category-wise age relaxation.
